Which is more ridiculous?
"They hate us for our freedoms"

Or:

"We are fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them here"

2. the second one
the first one is an opinion and impossible to be proven false. the second one was proven false by the london bombings.

3. Except that Bush would argue that the London bombings were still
"over there".

4. the one that connects
the two statements erroneously, namely that it is 'them' or 'they' that is responsible for what is happening to America.

The 'enemy' is 'us'. as Pogo said. We reap what we sow.

It's a bitter harvest.

9. How 'bout:
"Given the plummetting support for Bush's shenanigans it seems you're doing a pretty piss poor fucking job fighting the 'war on ideas'. Perhaps you should get your ass to Iraq and make yourself useful."

10. Either.
They might hate us for our freedom to babble about the 10 Commandments yet ignore every one of them, but

We have enough Timothy McVeighs, and a growing revolution, right here to deal with already so he might be sort of correct on the second statement.
