3. So how come they believed |
|
the 'liberal lie' that Saddam Hussein had WMDs? Didn't the 'liberal' NYT, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC and CBS all report the lies that got us into this war? Could they please give us a transcript of some newscast in the run-up to this war where the 'liberal liars' contradicted George Bush, Coniliar Rice, Dick 'last throes' Cheney, Donald 'we know where they are' Rumsfeld et al?
And if they DIDN'T believe all those 'liberal lies' how come Bush had so much support for his war? Or are they saying they DID NOT support the war and are angry at the 'liberal lies' they were told about the war?
I'm confused!!!

5. Ask them precisely what the lies are, |
|
and why they think they are hearing lies. Usually I get gibberish or they change the subject. Even a light analysis of news, will reveal favortism to the GOP party.

6. Northern Wisconsin should be it's own state... |
|
we have a cabin up there and i've learned to never do any of the following: 1. Discuss politics 2. Discuss religion 3. Ask for an imported beer in any tavern (I oredered a HARP at Hank and Lethas and the big burly bartender with Elvis sideburns said "You're north of 64 hon, do you want bud or miller"). I swear if it weren't for Madison and some areas in the Fox Valley, we would be a red state. :banghead:

7. Wisconsin is schizophrenic. |
|
The same State that produced the Progressive Movement, produced McCarthy and the John Birch Society.
There is also a Planned Parenthood, anti-abortion schizophrenia.
Right-wing fundamentalism seems to be a big influence here now.
Go figure.

8. One third of this country is going to have to go into rehab or something.. |
|
When we finally get rid of these fascists and start repairing the damage, these folks are not going to be ready to enter the real world without some serious therapy to address their cognitive dissonance and help them to become functioning members of society.

10. In a way it serves them right, as their jobs get shipped overseas |
|
that gas prices are at record highs, that in 7 to 10 years they will not be able to retire, or afford to send their kids to college
When they come back and ask how this happened, ask them who they voted for in 2000 and 2004? Also, ask why they thought creationism should be taught in science class, and why we are losing the technological edge, if they see a connection?

I hope, and if it would not be hypocritical of me to pray, I'd pray, that any and all treatment and medication for this you receive is completely voluntary, or that if you wish to receive none, that you are never forced to accept any.

More of you have to learn to say...
"Gee, that's really too fucking bad, my liberal heart just bleeds for you. Maybe *NEXT* time you won't vote for the moron, huh?
"But you probably will anyway 'cause he's the one who'll guarantee that Adam and Steve can't get hitched. Or that your daughter won't be able to get an abortion. Or that he'll kick that towelhead ass over en Eye-raq. And those are the important issues, right? Not whether or not you can feed your family."
