Merely a coincidence I am sure. Actually it seems that the only place W feels safe enough (from protestors) to go is to a VFW convention (he should be ashamed to show his face there) in Utah and to Idaho.

Anyway now for THIS DATE IN HISTORY

1992 Incident at Ruby Ridge

1. I think the VFW members should be ashamed
to attend the event of this poseur

Why do they continue to give credence to this liar and war criminal? It is their fault as much as his fault, when is someone going to point that out? What is the matter with these people?

2. An interesting side note on Idaho
"Idaho is perhaps the only state to be named as the result of a hoax. When a name was being selected for new territory, eccentric lobbyist George M. Willing suggested "Idaho," an Indian term he claimed meant "gem of the mountains." It was later revealed Willing had made up the name himself, and the original Idaho territory was re-named Colorado because of it. Eventually the controversy was forgotten, and modern-day Idaho was given the made-up name when the Idaho Territory was formally created in 1863."

3. What, are you from freakin' Idaho or something?
Common saying in my Army unit. Not meant to offend Idahoians or Idahoes or whatever they are called.

That fact is too funny.

4. No coincidence.

He went to Baghdad because he thought his daddy failed. So now he goes to Idaho on the anniversary of another of his daddy's failures: the botched raid on Ruby Ridge.

It amazes me that, to this day, Randy Weaver blames this incident, not on the man who was president when it occurred, but on that president's opponent for re-election at the time. Maybe he figures Clinton worked a secret deal with the BATF and FBI to discredit Poppy. Or maybe to make an example to demonstrate the wrongness of the Reagan/conservative initiated no-knock warrant that was used so badly both there and a few months later at Waco.

5. Very few people make that connection
nor do they remember when the first WTC attack occurred and how the administration at the time dealt with it.

Amazing.
