"I'd vote for Hillary Clinton before I'd vote for Chuck Hagel." |
|
This from Joe Scarborough.
Boy. Hagel has pissed off the right-wingers.

We'll make sure and remind you of that "pledge" in October 2008--if we need to, that is!:eyes:

13. Hillary is prochoice and Hagel is antichoice |
|
and Hagel is not anti-war. He still defers to Bush on the war, that is what he said yesterday.

Seems to me that's a pretty good endorsement of Hagel.
If Hillary is acceptable to Scarborough, then it confirms my suspicion that she has moved too far to the right.
Funny, you've got a couple Republicans like Hagel and Jones who see the move of the country away from the Bush disaster ... and you've got Dems like H. Clinton, Biden, Bayh, et al. who are moving closer to the radical Republicans on foreign and military policy.
Go figure.

8. Oh, there ought to be a dozen or so candidates |
|
by the time the Iowa caucuses roll around.
And who knows? Hillary and Hagel might not even be among that dozen.

Man, that is nuts... Granted he is a republican but he's a sane one, like McCain.

12. The most troubling thing about McCain is that, |
|
while he is conservative in general, the public perceives him as a moderate.
Let's hope we don't get somebody like McCain against us in '08. Knocking down the public's perception of him would be one hell of a task.
