Wednesday Boise Idaho Bush protestors please read (photos of SLC protest)

"Chicken George" in the
Salt Lake Tribune as seen on CNN and mentioned on Fox News.

Boise Protestors, We need your help...

In 1992 George Bush Sr. refused to debate Bill Clinton. Clinton supporters began to dress up as chickens and taunt him at everyone of his campaign stops. “Chicken George” was part of the reason for Bush Sr. losing the election.

We want to bring back “Chicken George” highlighting Bush’s refusal to meet Cindy Sheehan.

We need a person in chicken costume to dress up in Boise, Idaho to protest Bush.

YOU WILL GET NATIONWIDE ATTENTION, just as the "chicken George" did in Salt Lake City on Monday.

3. thanks,
Thanks for all of your support.
I am trying my hardest to get this to catch on, wouldn't it be beautifully ironic if both Sr. and Jr are dogged by "Chicken George"

Have an update:

Another media outlet mentions Chicken George in Monday's Salt Lake Protest

While Rich Lyman performed on the keyboard, a character in a yellow chicken costume danced in front of the loudspeakers. A sign on the costume read, "George: Scared of Cindy?" referring to Bush's refusal to meet with Cindy Sheehan, the antiwar mother who wants to talk with the president about the death of her son in Iraq.

I don't and you can only send members an email if you are.

If you are a member you could send them the above information. They are organizing peace events in Boise while Bush is there.

Please help get the word out about the great peace events going on next
week when President Bush is in Idaho.

We have been given a great opportunity to show that even in a state where
George Bush was reelected by a landslide, concerned citizens are calling
for the return of our troops and an end to the violence in Iraq. George
Bush will be showing his "support" for the troops by calling them heroes
and vowing to "get the job done." We will show our support for the troops
by mourning all who have died and calling for an end to the occupation and
a return of the troops.

Please don't miss the Peace Rally on Tuesday, Aug. 23 at 7 pm at Capitol
Park across from the Statehouse in Boise. Every single person that comes on
Tuesday will strengthen our call for peace.Your presence at this event may
very well save the lives of many Americans and Iraqis.

Here is a link to our flyer for the event you can post and share - it's a
word document. It's called "Tell President Bush to Bring the Troops Home."

And please try to attend the vigil in Donnelly on Monday night sponsored by
Valley County Citizens for Peace

Where: "Flower Peoples' Park", Hwy 55 (next to Somerton's Realty) Donnelly,
Idaho

When: Monday, August 22, 2005, 7:30 PM
