Is it significant that none of the "Independents" voted for Bush?? |
|
In tiny Dixville Notch, all the registered Repubs came out and voted for the incumbent incompetent in the WH but all the "Independents" split their votes amongst the Democratic candidates. Is it not true that they could have voted for Bush? They did not have to vote Democratic, is that correct? What does it mean?
Perhaps nothing? But could it be an indicator that only the hardcore Republican partisan is willing to vote for the Great Pretender in the White House? It might be interesting to look at the final total vote tallies to get a better idea of how many "Independents" end up voting for Bush in the primary. Since both Independents and Republicans outnumber Democrats in the state of NH, this will be an interesting statistic to follow, in my opinion.
