Ever wonder who coined the term "Intelligent Design"? Here ya go

This is PNAC on God.... and I need a shower after that. It's theology cleverly masked as science. I'd post some quotes but there are just too many, you have to experience the whole thing.

Here's the Intelligent Design page titled "Challenging Darwin and Promoting Intelligent Design"

1. seen similar excrement elsewhere. Can't view it again
but, you have to give them credit.

by trying to be creative about sneaking unsupportable sect-based religious garbage and repacking it as a possible pseudo-science, they are using that one part of their body that normally remains inert and unused.

give them time, and they may actually exercise it on real issues.

6. It's clever propaganda
It's the same way the administration linked Saddam to 9/11, yet denied doing so.

3. So, if Intelligent Design is not God-based

and Creationism is and Intelligent Design is not Creationism, then if you accept both of them, God is not intelligent.

4. great quote about the Discovery Institute
http://www.nytimes.com/2005/08/21/national/21evolve.html?ei=5094&en=88f0b94e7eb26357&hp=&ex=1124596800&partner=homepage&pagewanted=all

<snip>

But the evolution controversy has cost it the support of the Bullitt Foundation, based here, which gave $10,000 in 2001 for transportation, as well as the John Templeton Foundation in Pennsylvania, whose Web site defines it as devoted to pursuing "new insights between theology and science."

Denis Hayes, director of the Bullitt Foundation, described Discovery in an e-mail message as "the institutional love child of Ayn Rand and Jerry Falwell," saying, "I can think of no circumstances in which the Bullitt Foundation would fund anything at Discovery today."

5. Neo-Darwin????????
I took college Zoology from one of these idiots who don't believe in evolution -- and this means everything today was created about 6,000 years ago and NO evolutionary CHANGES have happened since.

Someone asked about birds -- and other species where modern evidence exists -- nope --doesn't happen he says.

I was concerned about the quality of students from some high schools with Bible College degrees in Biology -- I need to poll the same college level biology teachers 10 years after the huge push to get the Bible College teachers into schools all over the US.

Frankly I haven't seen much coverage of this -- I remember talking to high school students and was shocked to learn that their high school teachers were teaching Creationism (called something else). These kids had all the talking points about how life was created by god.

First the school boards were infiltrated -- and they hired "Christian" Superintendent of Educations who then hired an approved list of "biology" teachers. This happened in rural areas of Washington-- and other areas of the US.

Want to know why the US schools are falling behind in science? Thanks be to "god".
