CA Democratic Party has unanimously called for extradition of Posada |
|
Edited on Wed Aug-24-05 04:53 PM by genius
On July 31st, at it's Executive Board meeting, one of the resolutions that passed UNANIMOUSLY was the call for the extradition of Posada (an airline bomber) to Venezuela.
Unlike the problems with extraditions to the United States, Venezuela has abollshed the death penalty. Bush could learn about humanity from Chavez.
I think that, between Bush and Chavez, most Americans prefer Chavez.

2. Good. Posada should be returned to Venezuela. |

We have no right to demand the extradition of terrorists to the U.S. if we won't return terrororists to other countries where they have committed acts of terrorism. Venezuela has a better system of justice than we do. It's good that Posada may be returned there rather than having more oportunities to help Bush's friends blow up more planes.

7. The resolution or the rally? |
|
The California Democratic Party can confirm the passage of the resolution. It was SAC05.39 on the consent calendar.
There is info on the rally at answerla.org.

It took until this month to get up the April resolutions. The Democratic Party is staffed by volunteers and sometimes it takes time. Maybe, you should send them some donations.

Jorge Posada's performance last year in the playoffs bordered on the criminal, but extradition? That seems a little severe.
Yes Nurse, it IS time for meds. Why do you ask? :D
