I wish Robertson's call for Chavez' assassination was like the defining |
|
climax in A Face In The Crowd where Andy Griffith does himself in on camera when he totally insults his following while smiling and waving at them on television. And because of his gaffe, he's cut off from anyone influential and becomes a nobody again.
Never mind. I answered my own question. Pat Robertson didn't attack his minions or other Christians. He thought Chavez was a safe target but he reckoned wrong.
That's why he's not a pariah this morning. Oh, he's lost some influencem, but he's still with us unfortunately.

1. What amazes me........ |

is that there are still millions of people who consider Robertson a "Man of God"! :eyes: You'd think his "flock" would wise up after countless gaffes by this cretin, but I guess the faithful MUST keep believing or the structure of their twisted belief system would crumble and fall.
