I hate to admit this but... 9/11 and Iraq - there is a connection
It finally hit me the other day.

Both are examples of the Bush administration reacting to their utter failure to govern and fulfill their constitutional obligations which resulted in American deaths by killing more Americans.

There is your connection.

1. George Bush is a strong and unyielding leader.
In fact, he didn't even blink when he drove this country headfirst in to a brick wall. That's the kind of leadership we need.

Now go flagellate yourself for these wicked thoughts.

3. They are also both happened/are happening on Earth
Another connection? I think so. They both involve people too. And they all breathe oxygen, eat food, consume beverages, pee, sleep, poop. My God the connections are mind boggling. :sarcasm:

4. Bigger connection - Bush1 funded and armed both Bin Laden and Saddam.
And Noriega, too.

9-11 and Iraq policy have deep roots in IranContra and BCCI. Even minimal research confirms this.

5. Saddam is Bad. Osama is Bad. Therefore they are connected.
Every kindergartner knows that.

They are part of the League of Despotic Overlords, and Supes and the gang defeated them handily in JLA #216 "The Evil Axis" with special guest star the President of the United States and his little dog Condi!!!

Oops, even though they were defeated, both Saddam and Osama managed to survive in their Shared Secret Spiderhole! so, yes, fans there will be a sequel, "Appointment in Tehran!!!" due sometime next spring before the elections!

People on 9/11 and they Failed them again when they and The Mainsteam Corporate Media Lied and beat the drums for the Invasion of Iraq.

But, this country didn't get enough of Failures in the first four years..we had to go for "four more years"..to really get the Stench of FAILURE slathered in all the pores of American policy.

Speaking of Failure..I wonder how bolton is doing over there at the UN? Hawking anymore Invasions?

12. here's evidence of the tie-in
Edited on Thu Aug-25-05 01:55 PM by welshTerrier2
the two were connected right in Rumsfeld's twisty little head ... the "notes" refer to documents reporting what Rumsfeld said the afternoon of 9/11:

the notes report, Rumsfeld was beginning to take aim at the target close to his heart: He wants the "best info fast. Judge whether good enough hit S.H. (Saddam Hussein) at same time. Not only UBL. Go massive. Sweep it all up. Things related and not." This was the first indication that Rumsfeld was disregarding specific intelligence clearly linking the attack to Al Qaeda and instead had begun to fantasize about getting Saddam Hussein.
