Has GW ever set out any goals for withdrawl from Iraq? |
I think we are confusing their tiny minds when we say 'timetable' I don't want them to say, 'we're going to withdrawl on October 3rd' I want them to say something like, as soon as we train 140,000 iraqi policemen we will leave or as soon as we re-build these areas we can leave or as soon as we pump all the oil we can leave. has W ever set any goals like these? The only answer he has ever given is 'as soon as the Iraqi people are ready to govern themselves, which is not an answer because it could mean anything.

1. Only vague: "When Iraqis can secure their own country" |
Meaning, after we've trained enough to stop running away or converting to the other side.
I'm guessing somewhere around 2018.

4. The implication was that US troops would be there for a long time |
But no pull-out date was ever set. And no exit strategy was ever mentioned.
