Anyone see Edwards on O'reilly last night?
I was actually kind of surprised by the interview, Bill did not ask him to shut up and he did for the most part let Edwards speak. I also thought it was funny that Bill openly admitted that he is a "Fat Cat" and does not want to pay more than 50% in taxes.

I have not really been an Edwards supporter but I liked what I saw last night he was very calm, very collected and he did not beat around tuff questions.

Anyway if anyone one else took the time to watch it let me know what you thought.

1. I watched
And Edwards was indeed composed. I disagree with you about the tough questions though, I don't think Edwards got any.

4. They talked about taxes. O'Reilly and Edwards totally disagree and this is
biggest tool (along with driving down the value of labor) that the Republicans use to transfer wealth and power to the wealthy.

Because Edwards has exceeded Bush in terms of making it seem unseemly to be nasty to him doesn't mean this was a bad interview. And it was about a minute long, right?

3. He played into "O'Lielly's" hands by saying whatever
"O'Lielly" wanted him to. That's character, huh?

6. Why twist someone's words completely?

Edwards was firm and forthcoming, and didn't back down on anything. He was excellent.

7. he was great, made his points even within the Fox format
the key to defusing OReilly is to stay engaged with him and not allow it to become the confrontation that OReilly wants. Edwards did that beautifully and made all the points he wants to make given the conversation that the interview allowed.

Masterful, as usual.
