Texas Author And Bush Critic Announces New Third Party And Run For 2008
Who's heard of this guy?

I'm a strong advocate of a third party, or I would be if I thought we had a chance...

Texas Author And Bush Critic Announces New Third Party And Run For 2008 Presidency
Karl Schwarz wants to unite country behind The American Patriot Movement, a new third party bent on ridding America of neo-con control.
August 26, 2005

By Greg Szymanski

New political parties in America are not very popular, but Karl Schwarz, an outspoken Texan and critic of President Bush, wants to “buck the two party system” as he announced his candidacy for President for 2008 this week under the banner of a third party called The American Patriot Movement.

A successful business entrepreneur and author, Schwarz, 54, officially announced his candidacy for President on a public telephone-seminar Thursday night, where hundreds joined him in a question and answer period to map out a strategy to “rid America of the neo-con stranglehold on Washington.”

Schwarz, best known for his 800 age book bashing Bush and the neo-cons, titled “One Way Ticket to Crawford Texas,” has been rallying support and organizing his third party for more than two years, ever since coming on the national scene with his detailed analysis of how the bush administration is actually a “front government” for the New World Order, bent on destroying American democracy under a one world oppressive government.

3. I don't know anything about this guy, but I'm thrilled to see several
people talking about their desire to run in the 2008 primary. I don't really care if they run on the Pub ticket or as an independant, it will be GREAT to see just how many real conservatives they can peel off of the extremist crowd!

5. I know a guy who owns a firing range around Austin
who might vote for him. Except that this guy probably doesn't vote because he's usually predicted the world will end just before the elections.

Other than that, he's one of hundreds of candidates who won't register a blip on the radar. Unless Texas goes to the butterfly ballot and someone needs to siphon off a few Democratic votes.

11. This guy will take voters away from Bush
if he continues--but he's no Perot. Few have heard of him outside the internets.
