Rudy Giuliani Considering Presidential Bid
Former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani tells an international business forum in Sydney, Australia that he will probably decide next year whether to run for president.

Asked at the Forbes Global C-E-O Conference in Sydney when he would become U-S president, Giuliani says he doesn't know whether he will run yet and that nobody will ultimately know the answer until the people vote.

He says it's big decision and it's a little premature to make it.
Giuliani also says that government should be run more like a business.

He advises fellow chief executives to evaluate their companies' security after the September Eleventh attacks and warns against living in hope that terrorists would not attack again.

Geez, this putz wants far more than he deserves. He's had his fifteen minutes, and more.

3. Shouldn't he be busy at the Hurricane Katrina site
being a hero?

Maybe he only "does" terrorist attacks, though. I know that he just happened to be in London for the last ones. Possibly that was good enough, he thinks.

2. "Government should be run like a business"
Reagan said that. So did Dubya.

Both drove the nation deep into debt.

6. Pro gay rights, pro-choice, ect ect
means he's dead in the mud come GOP primary time.

He'd have much better luck running for a statewide position in NY.

8. He'll get bruised, pushing past McCain, Cheney, and Jebbie.

Besides, it's good for business to talk about running for president. Donald Trump did it, and we were mercifully spared.

10. You mean Rudy "Cashin' in on 9/11" Giuliani?
Edited on Wed Aug-31-05 07:58 AM by flpoljunkie
"Government run more like business?" How can he say this with a straight face under Dubya's reign of terror and incompetence?

Giuliani's firm Giuliani Partners was hired and paid millions by the Bush administration to assess the security of importing drugs from Canada. Guess where they came down on this. You guessed it--too risky!

Does he really think he can get past the base of the Neanderthal Republican party? Well, only if they continue to control the software in the vote counting machines...

12. I'm sick and tired of these idiots who say
that a government has to be run like a business. It doesen't. It's not a business, nor must it have the same goals as a business. A governement is supposed to administer and offer services to its population, not to put money into the hands of a few rich people.

Fucking morons.
