Does anyone doubt it? It was already at the top of his "to do" when Congress returns next week, and no doubt, the Congress critters, will fold and approve ANWR drilling.

ANWR drillling has been taken out of the energy bill and is now filibuster proof--even if the Dems had the guts to stop it.

1. It's always their first answer to energy independence
Now, more than ever.

Of course the pink-tutu Dems will roll over and not even ask for lube.

3. A republican I work with
said the same thing to me yesterday. He actually said that if we had been drilling there before now we would not be in this predicament. How do you talk to people who truly believe this bullshit?

4. ANWR would take 10 yrs. to develop, and be a drop in the bucket for U.S.
ANWR reserves estimated to provide only 6 months of our gas guzzling energy needs in the United States.

6. This idiot told me
that "there is more oil there than Saudi Arabia has ever had". Where do they get this stuff from? They haven't even done exploratory drilling, have they?

8. It's already happening...
I heard Lush Limpballs 2 days ago spewing about having to increase drilling and refining capacity away from the Gulf coast.

But why be surprised, this administration always uses human tragedy to their political advantage.

10. They will push drilling and refineries in Cali
It has been the oil companies goal for decades. They will use this disaster to start drilling and put up some more refineries in California. I bet the rhetoric is that all have to do their part during a national crisis.
