Bush administration uses Katrina to waive environmental controls |

These guys are slick.
They will be waiving the Clean Air Act regulations and other controls and use that as an excuse for people to be able to get gas for their SUVs.

1. Didn't he say something about sulphur content? |

I walked into the room just as he was talking about it.
Jeez! Denver is also in a bowl and gets a brown-cloud effect during the winter. When we have temperature inversions in this area, we get major air quality deterioration. The air around here is going to be choking.
Forget heating homes with wood. We'll have more red days than ever. And with natural gas heating predicted to go up, this is going to be bad. Ethenol gasoline is sold in winter but I don't think it will do enough to help with a relaxing of existing regulations.
