Joe Lieberman you are a great Democrat!
Edited on Tue Jan-27-04 01:32 PM by Democrats unite
You should be our Vice President right now! When the Democrats needed you, you were there. You may be a conservative Democrat, but you are a Democrat that is honest and open about your convictions (to bad some of your fellow Democrats like to follow the whores of the right wing spin).

I tip my hat to you Joe Lieberman & thank you for the fight that you have fought for us.

3. Thanks for your sentiments
I don't think Lieberman's the strongest candidate to lead the party this year (right now it looks to me like Edwards is), but he's a solid Democrat. Liberal on social issues, moderate on economic issues, hawkish on foreign policy. Just like JFK and Bill Clinton.

4. Eeeewwww
It's not right-wing spin, honey, it's straight out of Joe's mouth: at the NH debate he stated that the repukes couldn't attack him because he voted with them on all the major issues........WTF?!?! How on earth does that inspire dems to vote for you?! I just don't get it

6. Joe should run a ticket with Hamm
Somebody on the Clark blog said it would bring "Ho-mentum" to his campaign. It could help, seriously. :D

7. Perhaps Lieberman could be a Republican...
so we should be glad that:

1) He's not any more conservative than he is, because it gets a lot worse.
2) He's voting for Daschle and not Frist.

There will be people on all parts of the political spectrum, and we should be glad that Lieberman has chosen to align with Democrats and not Republicans.

10. Whenever I watch Joe I get the feeling he's embarrassed to be a Democrat.
Anyone else get that feeling?

11. I consider myself a Conservative leaning Democrat ...
and I hope he wins the nomination. The Republican nomination.

He was the weakest link when he was elected VP. He is the weakest link as he runs for President.

Please ... Please ... Please ... Joe ... Just leave the party.

Cheers
Drifter

12. I will agree he is technically a Democrat
But to call him a "great Democrat" is off the rails.

14. I might agree with you more
if Joe, as a "great Democrat" hadn't continually & publically bashed the man you are supporting, Wes Clark.

Joe should try to win on his own merits, not by tearing others down; God knows we have the media & right wingers against us. We don't need Dems against us.

15. My fellow Clark supporter,
Democrats unite, I have to disagree. He voted for the IWR and Patriot Act. He STILL supports the war in Iraq, just like Kerry and Edwards. He may have convictions...but they're the WRONG ones! Joe's gotta go!

Go Wes!
