If you look at delagates, who already pledged and the primaries to come this horse race isn't even around the first bend!!! Kerry is an establishment useless politico with ZERO Charisma who is only where he is because of his money and connections...just like BUSH.... And has Failed us, but that aside, It's rediculous to call this primary on the basis of Iowa and NH..Get a Grip and stay tuned..

2. As long as Dean hangs in second... he'll get comeback buzz.

Dean has the resources to stay in this until the very end... Kerry does not.

3. very true but he can just take loans out that his wife can repay after
the primary...so he really has all the cash he needs if you think about it...And i'm sure that's what they were planning all along.

5. I can't wait...
I can't wait for none of the candidates to surpass the threshold needed to win the nomination, so the superdelegates become a deciding factor.

Will the superdelegates go with the national popular vote winner?, the candidate with the most at-large delegates?, will they weight the delegates based on relative electoral votes within each state?, or will they override the people's choice and annoint their own candidate?

6. If your guy won I would be happy for you guys
Of course its ridicious to call the primary after NH and Iowa. I sure didnt see the people who say this now though say that when it seemed inevitable that their guy would be the nom though, I didnt like it then and I dont like it now. Kerry and all the candiates are good men. I agree it is wrong to call this thing after NH and Iowa. If we want a true anti Bush candiate, we would be behind Kucinich but to me it seems people are still afraid to go that extra mile, I have no problems with the others, but if IWR really is your issue for supporting or opposing a candiate, then why not DK? too late now I guess, but despite my Kerry avatar and support equal, DK is the guy I have the most support for especially in my heart. Let us not be divided in the months ahead.

8. Oh please
I suppose that Howard Dean (who will almost certainly get trounced in South Carolina in addition to losing New Hampshire) is the real choice of the Democratic party?

10. Right on.
Kerry is establishment slime. He's a war-hawk (take a look at his "defense" of the IWR vote if you don't believe me) and a PNAC/BFEE enabler. Screw that. It is time for something different. If Kerry gets the nom I will not vote Dem.

13. Sad
I can't for the life of me understand this sort of sentiment.

Granted, we're each entitled to an opinion but why give your vote to Bush?

11. Don't agree with your characterization of Kerry
but you are right, today's results are not the end of the race. It is just beginning.

I don't think any candidate will drop out after tonight. After next week, I think Lieberman will withdraw. If Edwards and Clark both show some sun belt strength, they will both stay in, but if one trails the other badly in most states, that one will drop out.

It takes over 2100 delegates to win the nomination. Get ready for a long and tough fight.

18. not worthless
The poster is a relative newbie, and may not be aware of the spell check function.

Also, if a poster is arrogant enough to assume he/she can "enlighten" someone, it probably helps to have an adequate grasp of spelling and grammar.

16. "rediculous" is spelled with an "i"
And, just for the record, "noone" is not a word, it is "no one".

That's pretty much the sum total of my entire list of grammar and spelling pet peeves.

20. "FAR from the sure thing"?
Sooo is Kerry going to be the first canidate to win both Iowa and New Hampshire and not win the nomination?

I know this has been a bad month for Dean supporters, what with his campaign collapsing, but spare the rest of the board the dillusions.

Stay tuned. Good advice.
