Would it be illegal for me to contact leaders of other countries and ask |
|
them to please help us as our government and its leadership are letting people die?
I already have a few emails; however, I don't want the DOD coming and arresting me for trying to get these poor, poor people some help.
Also, earlier today on CNN they showed the helicopters picking up tons of sand trying to fill the levies up.
Now I may not be the smartest person around; however, they gave up saving people off of roofs to do this. Also, no one was dropping food or water ANYWHERE.
These people have lived in this filth, heat, lack of medicine, water, food, etc., have handled themselves so bravely. They have not rioted, they have only been screaming for help.
Well, my first question stands. Also, would anyone else like to add their name to the emails as "Terrified for the lives of our fellow American Citizens" who have been given nothing for four days.
OMG, now they are saying they released a lot of the prisoners. That explains the large police force now. All those buses should have under each chair water and something to eat. Once they get loaded, it should be announced, that way people wouldn't charge the buses nor would the people on the busses start passing out the water or food that they, themselves need so desperately. However, I'm sure they didn't bring them a damn thing.
Opinions regarding contacting other Governments for help.

Telling him that while he was a murderous ultra-nationalist bastard, he should accept the UN agreement to bypass NATO.
I was much younger and much more rash.
:bounce: Hi Alberto!

4. I would feel much better if I had a bunch of my fellow DU's put their |
|
name on it as well.
As far as your emailing Slobodan Milosevic, it did not involve bringing aid from other countries. Plus, I'm 46 years old. I just feel so helpless sitting here watching this.
My husband told me that some of the ones from our county that are going down are going to help move families to some of the closed Military Bases. They have small unit apartments on the bases and they can hold a lot of people. However, a group from Fairfax, VA, left this morning and once they got there, the police would not allow them to enter stating it was too dangerous.
There are also reports of policemen turning in their badges. People have went up to some of them and have been told they are no longer cops and it's everyone for themselves.
Another worry I have is how much longer is the administration going to allow the to continue to make their reports out to the rest of us. Also, the reporters and network talking heads are coming out angrily about the conditions.
Why on MSNBC are the caucasian people being allowed to state that they are fine and doing well via the cameras as they stand in line for more food and water. They must not be in New Orleans. These must be the people that the hurricane hit because they have lost their homes but they are okay. Everyone of them but one lady were white. No blacks who have been flooded out, homeless, without food and water were even brought in front of the cameras.
