should be bulldozed. It's the Pat Robertson defense I guess.

3. He said 'buldozed'
There was a segmnt on CNN. His spokesman is trying to cover his ass with 'out of context' BS.

They showed the transcript on CNN and it was 'buldozed'.

Compassion you know.

4. Anyone hear Chertoff go into typical Bush spin/denial mode on NPR?
He called thousands starving at convention center a rumor. Robert Siegel pinned him down with facts that NPR had just covered on the air. Chertoff said he wasn't going to worry about "rumors." Siegel jumped him about it. A few minutes later they said they received a fax from Chertoff's office explaining that the secretary had just received a briefing (!) on the convention center situation.

Looks like Chertoff is pretty much a lightweight.

5. Bush on ABC Wednesday:
"No one could predict those levies could break..."

HA! Just every meteorologist, engineer and hydrologist who'd studied New Orleans over the last 20 years had said the worst case scenario was a Cat 5 hurricane hitting New Orleans and forcing a break in the levies between the city and Lake Ponchatrain...

Whoever is in charge of making sure Bush doesn't sound like an idiot must be on vacation.

6. MSNBC & CNN are on the ball with this one.
Bush isn't getting away with another lie. I wonder what Tweety will say tonight.
