We're being "framed" again - notice how all the Repukes are
"framing" it that the lefties are blaming Bush for CAUSING THE HURRICANE?

Anybody who actually listens and pays attention (whoops, there goes 95 percent of the US) would know that, with the exception of a few that are as mainstream as the righties who want to shoot blacks on sight for no reason, we are not blaming Bush for the hurricane itself.

What they are not saying is that we are angry about the preparation and the response.

I first heard this two days ago - afternoon drive-time turd OxyRush wannabe was saying "There are even some idiots blaming Bush for the hurricane." (meaning, of course, anybody who questions W's policies).

When some asshole starts saying "The left are blaming Bush for the hurricane" - DEMAND THAT THEY PROVIDE THEIR SOURCES! CALL THE MOTHER*UCKERS ON IT!!!@!!

3. My freeper father-in-law...
said that Bobby Kennedy, Jr. said it. Given that I'd wager my house and all its contents that he doesn't listen to "Ring of Fire," I'm guessing that he probably got this information spun by Fox News or by Rush.

15. RFK Jr did say it, right after Katrina hit
so did one paper in the German press. Said Bush's Kyoto policy was to blame.

17. Politicians make great scientists.
They can follow statistical implications with incredible precision.

Much better than the actual scientists can. Makes me wish we didn't actually bother training scientists. We'd save lots of money.

6. His environmental and energy non-policies...
...certainly didn't help. So in a sense, yes, he can even be blamed for the Hurricane itself. But I won't go that far, I'll say that his non-policies on the environment and energy contributed to the causes of the hurricane.

7. The jig is up. People know this mess is their doing
No amount of spinning is going to turn this one around. The cat's out of the bad, and the Bush administration has been shown to the entire world as the pathetic little incompetent IDIOTS that they are.

If he was popular I'd say we need to be worried about this. Let the Republicans play politics as we hold the administration responsible for the tradegy...it just makes them look bad.

All they have is hyperbole. We have facts.

They cut funding for flood control.

The response has been botched and inadequate.

Only the 30% of the country that drink the RNC coolaid will buy what thier selling.
