Le ministère de l'Intérieur peut envoyer sans délai 35 personnes de la sécurité civile basées en Guadeloupe et en Martinique, dont 11 spécialistes des ouragans, a-t-il dit.

Un détachement d'intervention catastrophe aéromobile de 60 personnes est susceptible de partir de la métropole.

Le ministère des Affaires étrangères pourra quant à lui puiser dans ses stocks prépositionnés en Martinique 600 tentes, 1.000 lits de camp, 60 groupes électrogènes, trois motopompes et trois stations de traitement de l'eau.

Enfin, la Défense peut fournir huit avions et deux bâtiments de la marine, dont un transporteur d'hélicoptères.
