Here's the "President hugs crying kids" photo you KNEW was coming.
File it on your hard drive in the "too little, too late" folder.

1. I'd love to see him go do that in New Orleans. He'd get quite an earful.

10. Their fault, not his
They should never have allowed themselves to be used like this. Just say NO and back away. I wouldn't let him touch me.

5. Those are the two same girls he wore like cufflinks.
Had his arms drapped around each one of them, casual-like as he strolled down the street.

6. To use MTV terms, MSNBC has that one in "heavy rotation"...
They're showing the clip of him with his arms around them over and over and over.

It's become his "standing with the bullhorn on the rubble at Ground Zero" moment (in absence of a "real," authentic moment).

9. My thought exactly,
he wasn't going to hug someone who smelled like those he left to suffer smell.

12. On NPR
They were interviewing this young woman who had gone to Biloxi looking for some friends or cousins of hers, going from shelter to shelter.

And she described what she saw as she walked around, crying as she did so. She was trying to help people as much as she could 'cos she knew first aid. And NPR asked her about President Bush and she was like, "I don't mean this to sound ugly, but they were talking on the radio about how maybe it'll help people to have a hug from the president. These people need a lot more than a hug. I'm sorry if that sounds ugly."

What a beautiful woman (even if she is probably a blindly loyal Repub)
