This "refugee" tag has a negative connotation with many people who see "refugees" as people who come here from somewhere else and need assistance, especially with the rampant xenophobia of some on the other side right now.
These peopl eare American citizens, and as such, are deserving and GUARANTEED under the Constitution rights, and protection from their government.
Please, do not call them "refugees" anymore. It is a bogus title.
