Do you think Junior's MEDIA EVENT today fooled most of America?
Do you think people will remember that he wasn't there for 4 1/2 days while people died?

8. There's a lot of truth in that
For people like me--who would vote for a piece of moldy cheese if it was the only candidate running against Junior--the display this afternoon was disgusting. But I worry that most people want to stop worrying and Junior's PR handlers have given them a reason to stop worrying.

7. Not most, but a lot.
People, especially conservatives, have a very short memory. They'll remember Bush showing up at the scene of the crime, not the crime itself. I think his poll numbers would have increased some, but the gas prices will cap any possible gains he might have gotten from the gullible.

9. The gas prices--I wonder if people will give him a pass on that?
Notoriously short memories is absolutely right. I'm sure the British audience--which is usually more politically sophisticated--looked at the MEDIA EVENT and rolled their eyes.

11. It has EVERY SINGLE TIME BERFORE
I hate to be pessimistic, though some might say I am simply being realistsic.

They have committed treason, lied, murdered & blatantly stolen elections in broad daylight.

They KNOW that it doesn't really matter how many vote against them , for they still shall "win".

Even IF the Imperial Subjects of Amerika were to awaken en masse, there is simply no way to CHANGE anything, not withing the corrupted and broken "System".

I will work as hard as anyone in 2006 and 2008, but only because I'm a sucker. Those "elections" are already over.

Hint: The Busheviks won.

Wait for it.

ALL WEEKEND...if it's the last image in people's minds, then that's what will stick and all will be forgotten....

It's mind control

It's up to the Dems to keep hammering on all the crap that went on--let's see if they are willing to put ANY heat on Bush for any sustained length of time.

I fear not. When I called Reid's office yesterday, the guy was laid back and sounded like it was business as usual...

18. Not enough to save his a**
I think it sticks when the US people start to see the truth and realize they've been lied to, and not led, but only misled.

Besides that, like someone was saying a lot of reporters who were down in NOLA were moved to tears by the suffering and terrible conditions.

They obviously have felt much anguish and outrage like we have, and they will not soon forget those images.

At this point in time, I don't think the admin could actually declare general martial law and enforce it.

Lawyers:

How about a class action law suit against the President and REpub congress by the people impacted by the storm, who suffered and or lost loved ones beyond what woulda happened if the funding for reinforcing the levees hadn't been cut?
