We need to stop thinking about 2008 and focus on helping the victims |

Edited on Fri Sep-02-05 05:42 PM by politicasista
I am very angry about Bush and his pathetic adminstration's handling of this catastrophie.
I am very glad General Clark has spoken out against Bush and his incopetence.
I am very glad that Edwards has spoken about the two Americas. (I wish he was VP now).
I am glad that the CBC has spoken out. As well as Kucinich.
Let's focus on the REAL picture. We all know Bush should be impeached, but we need to focus our energy on helping the victims get through this horrible tragedy, not worrying about 2008.

3. I'm thinking about 2006. |
|
This needs to be exposed. We will need control in Congress to do that. Why let him have a free ride? Don't you wish those opposed to Iraq had thought about 2002?

But my problem is that people seem to think that just cause any Dem comes out against Bush, they are crowned pres in 2008. What about taking back Congress in 2006? Election reform? We don't know how things are going to shape up after all this. I am just saying that we need to focus on helping the victims who have lost everything and lives changed forever.

5. From all that I am aware of our Party lacks leadership. |
|
Signs of leadership are speaking out on the issues, presenting alternative ideas to the status quo, helping return the Dems to majority status. I think all of these men are doing that and their ideas need to be exposed to all of us so we can have an informed opinion. I know Clark has just toured Wisconsin and Iowa to promote candidates and ideas. there are a number of threads on NO and Katrina. This is GDP, how can we censor out the Politics?
