Hannity "there is a little bit of a distribution issue"
Seriously. I know that is out of context.... no
it isn't there is no context inwhich that could possibly be said.

He said that to the Red Cross Executive Director Patrick McCrummen.

I'm sorry that is a keeper.

He has really toned down what he was saying on the radio this afternoon, from what I have seen.

He's a can of paint.

1. Now wait a minute
I have painted for money before and would never apply hannity to a wall. I may shove him against a wall, but thats another story.

8. You have something in common with Sean
He was a professional house painter. He had his own business. He was so compelled by the travails of Ollie North he stayed home and called radio callin shows. One of the producers liked what he heard. Hannity got a new job.*

* at some point, as you would expect, his business failed. that is his story.

2. He got away from Shep and Geraldo as soon as he could

So he could try and steer the program into an Up With People atmosphere.

3. Shep Smith and Geraldo WOULD NOT let him spin this
They were reporting the straight truth about what they saw and were not letting people say that this was a minor problem. Geraldo was crying.

6. My husband came out of the bedroom screaming about this!
Couldn't believe his own ears and eyes. Neither could I. Shepard Smith?!?!??! Goin' off the reservation? Roger Ailes is liable to fire him this weekend. God, when this is starting to manifest on Pox "news," you KNOW it's spreading like wildfire. If they're saying it, then NO ONE is fooled anymore. Except, of course, for that guy-whose-name-rhymes-with-VANITY.

4. The "distribution issue" is a right wing talking point...
Bushco is trying to cover its ass by implying that the people of NO are too stupid to find the supplies.

5. General Harold Cross tells it!!!
Hannity asks about the "mayhem". Cross says that it can be expected under these conditions. Help needs to get where it's needed. They got him off fast after he said that.

I guess Cross didn't get the memo.

9. Send Hannity to New Orleans.
I guarantee you, you force that little wannabe tough guy puke to spend 24 hours in that hellhole, he'll either undergo a change worthy of a religious conversion or his hateful brain will explode from attempting to resist what his own eyes tell him.

Either way we would be rid of his hateful rants. Send Ann the Man too.

11. This part on O'Reilly was also amazing.
Edited on Fri Sep-02-05 08:35 PM by Pirate Smile
O'Reilly is talking to Geraldo who is at either the Superdome or Convention Center (I'm not sure, if someone knows, please post it).

O'Reilly - says "Those people there, they've been fed, right? They are eating?"

Geraldo - goes up to a black man holding a small baby and says "You've been fed? They're feeding you all?"

Man - "If we were being fed, I wouldn't be holding this baby."

Geraldo - "Whaaaa?"

Man - "This isn't my baby. His Mom is over there passed out."

O'Reilly - interrupting, "OK, yea, yea, well" on to a commercial or something else. That wasn't the answer he wanted, therefore, it needed to be gotten away from quickly. On to how race has nothing to do with this crisis which is what was next topic.

12. Hannity is twisting like a tree in the wind
from what I heard of his show yesterday and HIS TV show last night and his radio show today and HIS TV show tonight he (reading script) is all over the place. Last night it was the "looters" ;-) today it was the "out of control" mayor of New Orleans "Does he sound like he can lead?" -compared him to Guiliani after a prompt from a caller

He is all over the place. Rush was off today but I have found Hannity to be THE best weather vein (Norquist script reader) of their message to the mainstream that there is. A perfect little stooge.
