3. I donated to the Red Cross today and in retrospect I now wish I had
donated to the Salvation Army. I wasn't pleased with her attitude a little bit ago on Larry King. Her reasoning for not helping NO from the start of this disaster. But as long as the money gets to the victims I guess it doesn't matter who you donate to.

4. I am skeptical of most of these relief agencies...
I wish we could just drive down there, "adopt" a family, and help them start over. It would
be far more efficient than any government agency ever could be.

I would prefer to see exactly where my money goes and eliminate the middleman altogether.

They are small but they do really good work. They are sending medical supplies and other stuff to NO now. They were ready since before the hurricane.
