Rove trying to limit the damage to the President through his usual sociopathic criminal means?
Kinda hard for the press to show the horror when the government has them locked up like they're already corpses.
Bush made me sick before. What's an illness beyond sick?

...and I'm too lazy to find it again...BUT...
Supposedly the media is being prevented from taking photos of the dead in areas that are being set up as "makeshift morgues."
The DU thread quoted a National Guard soldier as saying "If you want to take pictures of dead bodies, go to Iraq" to one news photographer.

If you can't deny it, cover it up.
Only way to cover up the horror in the Convention Center is to lock 'em all inside and keep the press from seeing the horror.

I found the article from the LBN forum, and it was a reuters article describing that horrible situation and the horror in general.
Don't you wish that KR would have visited on him every hurt, indignity, degradation, wound that KR was responsible for?
