Just as B*'s "advisors" are propbably frantically meeting,so too
should the Democratic leadership - all meet together - and FOR ONCE stay on the the SAME PAGE

LEVEES BROKE because of inadequate B* funding
B*administration response to this catastrophe is CRIMINALLY NEGLIGENT

For once, people that consider themselves leaders in the Democratic Party, PLEASE stay together on this

9. It would be more likely..
... that I'll wake up with a full head of hair tomorrow than the Dem leadership will not just sit there and let the Repubs spin, spin, spin again.

The only difference is that more and more people see the spin for what it is.

5. Katrina has really illustrated just how dangerous things have gotten...
for the poor in this country. And the whole world sees it. If the Dem's don't use this opportunity to really try to make a difference for us what opportunity will they use?

6. I agree that it is an opportunity to discuss race and poverty and to try t
make a difference.

Unfortunately,I don't think those that consider themselves in Dem leadership positions see it as such

7. Hear that whimpering?
That's our Dem leadership rolling over like puppies as usual. There's no collective backbone in our elected Democrats. I no their job are not easy, I just wish they would all start dancing together.

8. Agreed,Dems probably won't want to make a big deal out of Bush's cuts...
In light of the disaster going on. Yeah well...the disaster is going on for TWO reasons. BUSH and BUSH. Cuts $$71 MILLION for levey work and then sits on his ass while a Cat 5 hurricane takes dead aim on the city.

If they let those funding cuts slide by then I might change fucking party's. I'm SICK of those do nothing milque-toast Dems we have.....
