Prime Time For Reformist Economic Populism!
So, sounds like folks are finally starting to feel that enough is enough! NOW is the time for an economic populist/reformist agenda that can win EVERYWHERE AT EVERY LEVEL! Put your energy into helping economic populist candidates THIS YEAR and also any populist state or local referendums which are also critical. I think people are finally ready to say NO to big corporations making billions while they pay us the minimum wage and screw us for $4 bucks a gallon for gas. I think they are finally tired of Merck and others screwing us and lying to us about their outrageously priced drugs that kill us while they spend millions to advertise and rake in billions in profits. I think they are tired of Halliburton making billions while we bury our young men and women. I think they are sick of the union busting and rip-off "trade" agreements like CAFTA and NAFTA. I think they are tired of yet more tax breaks for the rich (LIKE THE ESTATE TAX VOTE COMING SOON) while ordinary Americans struggle to pay their taxes, fill their gas tanks, get medical care, and take care of their kids. I think they are finally sick and tired of a corrupt GOP of, by, and for the rich and their big fat rich corporations like Exxon-Mobil that gave the GOP two-million dollars in 2004. I think these bread and butter issues are what will help us take our country back and will also cut across the
blue-red divide. Even moderate Dems who are more conservative on some of the social issues can find common ground and take advantage of the bread and butter issues just as my own Congressman Mike Michaud of Maine does and WINS BIGTIME! Now let's get to work, get the message going, WIN elections, and get this country back in the hands of the people again!
