My letter to Senator Boxer (re: remove a derilict president from office)
Edited on Sun Sep-04-05 01:08 AM by CreekDog
Dear Senator Boxer,

I do not feel safe with President George Bush running the government. His handling of the Katrina crisis is evidence of complete incompetence and indifference.

In much the same way, the Iraq war has been nearly a disaster. Further, in the months before 9/11, the administration diverted efforts aimed at targeting Al-Qaida and Bin Laden towards other purposes.

I watch daily at the mismanagement of the budget, countless tax cuts that defund a budget, and scant attention to growing deficits, that could wreck our economy and defund the social programs that my family and myself will depend on in later years.

Has enough finally happened and actually happening to say that the president is derilict from his duties? I would argue to the extent that he must be removed.

I fear what another 3 years of his unique approach to being president could do to the country.

I also fear that in the case of an SF earthquake that the Bay Area faces much more danger with President Bush in charge than we've had with any president in recent memory.

Please take action to change this situation and work with your colleagues to convince them of this and act.

President Bush must go.

Thank you for being our nation's best Senator.

1. Excellent letter. "Derelection of duty" must be rallying cry to impeach!

2. Also sent to Feinstein and Lantos
Not holding my breath on Feinstein. Nevertheless, it must be said whether anyone is willing to listen/follow or not.

3. Good idea
I used the above as a model for a letter I wrote to my senators, Corzine and Lautenberg. I didn't even bother writing to my congressman because Ferguson is, from everything I can tell, a complete jackboot-licking toady.

Kick / recommended and I suggest that others write to their senators and/or congresscritters.
