Is there any assistance being offered those who assist victims?

There are a lot of families I know personally here in Houston who have taken in NO families. I know these families are not rich and certainly are doing this out of the kindness of their hearts with no thought of reward other then the respect of their fellow citizens and God. But some of the ones helping don't have much themselves.

And reality says that already strained budgets are going to be even more strained. This includes other state and local governments already suffering from budgets cuts because of tax cuts, and families suffering having to pay higher gas and energy prices. Is FEMA going to offer the support families any help in defraying the cost?
