Will tonight be as bad as last week? |
|
Edited on Tue Jan-27-04 03:45 PM by sgr2
Last week after Iowa, supporters of an unnamed Democrat (who lost badly) threw a hissy fit and flamed everything within 500 miles of their location. Will we see a repeat?

I can see the excuses already - dirty tricks, media conspiracy, DLC conspiracy, voters in NH are stupid, etc.
It would be refreshing to see a Dean supporter say, "My guy lost fair and square" with class.

Just wait until Super Tuesday. Some people here will probably be on suicide watch when their favorite candidate goes down in flames.

6. The Clark supporters could go nuts this time. |
|
If Clark finishes fourth, I'd expect a lot of conspiracy theories about the media. We could also see trash talking to everyone about February 3rd to pump themselves up psychologically.
No one likes to lose.

10. As a Clark supporter, I beg to differ with you |
|
If Clark takes 4th, he takes 4th. I may need some Prozac this evening, but I'm not going to blame anybody, I'll just say thats how NH voted.
It would be nice if you let us speak for ourselves.

Make yourself a sandwich and take yourself a nap. It's going to be a great night to be a Democrat! Whoever wins New Hampshire.

9. People are emotional about there candidates. |
|
Many of us have poured our souls into these campaigns. I for one have dedicated every Saturday since August to working on the Dean campaign. Please forgive me and others if some of that emotion ever bubbles to the surface.
Calling people out and chastising them for caring is a low blow in my book. A little understanding and a lot less gloating will certainly help all of us come together to beat Bush. Isn't that the goal?
