Listen up America, this can happen to you. |

We ache and cry for all those whose lives have been ruined by the storm and we seethe at the total failure by this administration in its efforts to cope with this disaster. Not FEMA, not Homeland Security, not the administration can claim to have done their job. This is not a problem for just the hurricane ravaged states, it is a problem for the whole country. We in New England or the northern sections of the country could have blizzards of epic size, The mid-west can have tornadoes too numerous and ferocious, west coast could suffer mud-slides and fires of majestic proportions. We could all face any imaginable fate at the hands of some lunatic with his hands on a WMD. We have left our safety in the hands of a government that has shown it is either totally inept or totally indifferent and corrupt. If we do not act, the next tragedy, and one will come, may be be even worse. We have to help those in the south to rebuild what remains of their lives and at the same time, we must remove this current group from office. If our only recourse is to demand impeachment, then we should be demanding at the greatest decibel level possible. Every resource available to us needs to be tapped to get the message to those in office that they are in their positions because of us and we are NOT satisfied. They have to go and we have the right to send them on their way with a good, swift kick in the backside. We must place capable, honest and caring Americans in Washington. Not a bunch of greedy, self centered idiots whose main reason for being there is to line their own pockets. They do not know what they are doing and are practicing at our expense. How did we fall this low. I hope I live long enough to see the US back on course. I fear for my children and grandchildren and give my most sincere compassionate thoughts to the hurricane victims. They not only faced this horrible storm but have to face the most awful consequences of their government../.and the government is worse than the storm. How can that be, can anyone explain how this can happen in the United States?

and was thinking that we should not just write or people in DC, but also write our perspective governers and tell them they had better get behind Blanco or they could be the next victim of horrible mis managment of FEMA and DHS. In fact here is a link that lists governors by state. http://www.firstgov.gov/Contact/Governors.shtml

4. Thank you. Lead on. We have such a fractured political system perhaps |
|
we should be linking our groups all across the Nation, identifying leadership and support. There are those who claim such infrastructure already exists, or that grassroots movements are doomed to failure the moment life is breathed into them? Or is the declaration of personal ID too much like painting bullseyes on ourselves? Or are we content in our political disconnect?
