OMG... CNN Just Said That Chertoff Is LYING!

Don't know if this has been posted yet, however while checking the stations I caught this message out of CNN. They were wondering just WHY Chertoff was still saying they couldn't anticipate this type of disaster! Also he said they had rescued 10,000 in 3 days, but the their own agency FEMA only said 4,500. That's basically calling them LIARS!! WHOOPEE!! The Fuzz Machine might not work this time!!

But what's even more telling is the footage they showed of Brown (the head of FEMA) saying on the Friday before the storm hit that this would likely be a Category 4 Storm. Actually showing the contradictions while reporting the story. Also were wondering if people aren't up to the job, why then wouldn't some heads roll!

This from CNN!! Do we dare hope that his is the Waterloo (pun intended) for "the corrupt ones?"

11. I just watched the segment on MTP where Chertoff got REAMED!!

by Tim Russert. The bag of bones chertoff kept talking and talking and making NO SENSE, then Russert came back with known by HOMELAND/FEMA news articles from FOUR years ago, on how awful a storm would be in NOLA: breaches etc.

THEN, Russert showed a document that is known to be in the files of FEMA saying it is THEIR responsibility to evacuate people the best way they can BEFORE THE STORM.

14. OMFG.......The president of Jefferson Parish fell to PIECES

on MTP telling of his co workers troubles getting some GODDAMNED HELP. Told of all the ways FEMA turned them down and cut off lines of fuel and EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS, of all things!!

Then the man went on to say he and his civil servants JUST finished filling up the breach in the 17th street canal. THEN he went to pieces as he retold of how his co worker's mother was trapped in a house filling up with water. His co worker's mother was somehow able to communicate with him and asked: 'Are you coming to get me son?" The man said: 'They'll come for you on Tuesday, They'll come for you on Wednesday, They'll come for you on Thursday, They'll come for you on Friday'........................SHE DROWNED.

The President of the Jefferson Parish went to absolute pieces right on the air...

Wolf asked him why the president had said no one anticipated the levies breaking when pretty much everyone was saying a cat 3, let alone what was on the way, would break the levies. Chertoff said, "well, because all the papers monday morning were saying that New Orleans dodged a bullet" This from the president that brags he never listens to the media?? Sounds like a LIE. and besides, what is this, "faith based" disaster prevention? Just pray the hurricanes miss the vulnerable cities? Absolute disgrace!

Chertoff should be fired for his moronic comments in the aftermath if nothing else.
