Got through to a local talk radio show this morning

The gist of my message was that this administration was engaging in a type of malevolent indifference.

I mentioned the NBC report this morning that a convoy of buses was waiting just 20 miles outside the city for TWO DAYS and would NOT be let into the city for some apparent security reason. I said a bus driver was interviewed and he said they were promised an armed guard on each bus but they never showed up.

I also brought up that the Red Cross was NOT allowed into the city for the excuse that people would be encouraged to go INTO the city. I said, "why would people want to go INTO that hellhole if they were OUT of the city and had access to food and water?" I said, "Something doesn't smell right but I don't know what it is."

I also said that Gov. Blanco requested military assistance LAST FRIDAY. That there was a transcript of an interview by CNN of Gen. Honore that confirmed this.

I also mentioned that, after 9/11, we were a united nation...not Reps/Dems, not rich/poor, not black/white but that now, things were different. There is a partisan blame game going on and people aren't willing to be accountable for their actions and that the compassion in America is missing.

I was wanting to mention * eating cake and playing guitar and Kindasleazy catching musicals and buying shoes but didn't get a chance to.

I think I got the point across.

BTW, this was on WHAS 840 AM which is a 50,000 watt "clear channel" (the AM broadcast type...not the company...well, it's owned by ClearChannel too!) and has the biggest AM radio audience in town.

Wow, this actually went out over the air, not deleted by the several-second delay they have, and was heard by the audience? Great if true. Notice, they are not just all defending Bush this time--this was so needlessly horrific.

I have found myself talking loud around people....was talking to my British friend today on the dogwalk...a lady is jogging by, and I practically scream out that "this gov. is run by corporatists and mercenaries, there is no real gov. anymore" and she gave me a shout out.
