5. How can anyone expect a dictator to show leadership???????????
Dictators like Bush are perfectly capable of waging war and oppressing the weak, but when a true test of character comes they pass the buck. How pathetic is that??

3. If Rasmussen has * at 40%,
you can be sure the true numbers are now in the low 30% range.

6. Wait, didn't the heading to the original post say his dissaprove #'s?
are 40%? You seem to be mixing them up with the approve numbers, unless you're saying you WANT fewer people to disapprove of the job he is doing.

10. It's important...

Just think 40% STRONGLY disapprove, And for approve (strong plus somewhat) is only 45%.

Support is really weak.

4. That is more than the number of Dems.
That's bad news for Bush. But it will get worse. I have personally promised to do all I can to drive the negligent killer from office. If a guy is impeached for getting lying about a BJ, then a guy guilty of negligent homicide should be impeached, too.

8. So, for '06 and '08 elections
we should hang him around the neck of each and every Republican candidate for federal office.

12. The "Somewhat Approve" group can be swayed.
The number that shocks me is the "Strongly Disapprove"--the largest bloc there.

13. Rasmussen is crap, however look at the poll history on the right
Edited on Sun Sep-04-05 12:18 PM by jackbourassa
Rasmussen had Bush at 49% approval when others had him at 36% to 40%. But if you notice, Bush's popularity has fallen four points in the past three days. It was 49% on Aug 31 (according to Rasmussen) and now it's 45%.

So Bush's numbers are falling rapidly. Look for other more legitimate polls to have Bush at 40% or lower.

Also, Bush "strongly approve" vs. "strongly disapprove" is - 17%.

That's incredible. Only 23% strongly approve, versus 40% who strongly disapprove.

I think winning back Congress is within our grasp, unless the Washington Dems mess it up.
