I'm Afraid Red America You Got What You Voted For....
We all knew * wasn't up to the job - but with the help of SCOTUS - he was put in the pResidency. It's fitting and proper that today both Rehnquist and * are both dead.

If the Repugs don't do something themselves to get rid of * - I'm predicting that the Repug party is dead too.

Now I can't wait until 2006 and 2008.

6. That is why help was not sent sooner.

9. Yep. More than 42 percent of us down here didn't vote for this shit.
More than 40 percent is a significant number of intelligent, thinking people any way you slice it.

11. Good question. It looks like it's just antiquated.
Dear Yahoo!:
Why can't you take the tag off your mattress?
Britany
Millington, Tennessee

Dear Britany:
Cut off your mattress tag already! Don't worry, you won't get locked up. As a consumer, it's perfectly legal to remove the tag from your own mattress. So why is it there? Well, the answer is somewhat involved.

Back in the 1900s, mattresses often contained a host of vermin and disease-carrying materials. To protect consumers, the government required dealers to post tags on their mattresses listing the contents. Later, the Feds added a warning to the content tag with the ominous message, "Do not remove under penalty of law," in big, black letters.

The move may have deterred duplicitous mattress dealers, but it only served to confuse consumers who didn't know that the threat wasn't meant for them. Confronted by fear of prosecution, consumers left the tags on their mattresses. Recently, the Feds addressed the misunderstanding by changing the label to: "This tag may not be removed except by the consumer."

Since then, the Feds have long abandoned the pursuit of tag-tearing merchants, though states like Texas still inspect mattresses for tags in stores. They're probably making sure their laws aren't full of fluff.

5. Howard Dean warned you about falling for those cultural hot button
issues and you did it once more.

Yes,the old "southern strategy" sucked you in again.

Anyone can salute and get the country into endless war.

10. It only worked on a little more than half the population.

I'm really tired of those on this board thinking the ENTIRE South is full of idiots.

NOLA is blue. Atlanta is blue. Nashville is blue. Memphis is blue. Hell, my city in a red state is blue. Most cities in the South above 200,000 people are blue.

It's the rural areas who are suckered in because the only "news" they get is Insannity and Limpballs on their commutes into the cities for work.

12. What's really sad is..
It's the Blue areas - the large cities - that are the areas that suffer.
It's the Blue areas more susceptible to terror attacks; terrorists don't attack the cutesy lil' antique shop or the folksy cafe on town square, or the honkey tonk bar on Old Hwy 6, or the Wal-Mart on the strip goin' outta town.

Terrorists attack Blue America. Disasters are much more worse when they hit Blue America. Which is why Blue America votes as though their lives depend on competent leadership.

Red America doesn't care if we die. To them, we're all a bunch of fag-lovin' baby-killin' pointy-headed granola munchers. Quite Christian of them.

13. And then they'll have to find jobs elsewhere because, with
the family farm now defunct, they can't work out in the rural areas. Those cutsey antique shops? Who's gonna buy their wares if Blue America is gone due to terrorist attacks?

Red voters don't think past today. They have absolutely no concept of forethinking and planning.

15. Consider election reform before spouting your nonsense about red states
Election laws and districts have been designed to dilute urban votes. New Orleans, as my own town of Indianapolis, voted Democratic in 2004, so why should we get blamed when our votes are proportionately diluted by the Republican suburbs. Just why do you think most Congressional seats are "safe" for the incumbent party? You don't think it has anything to do with the "virtues" of the incumbent, do you?

The Christian Jihadists claim that natural disasters are a sign of Divine retribution, particularly when it hits Democratic urban centers. Do you really believe that the Almighty is a white dude with blond hair and blue eyes?
