1. Wes Clark has already started
Russ Feingold will NOT sit by

The question is will the others fall in line, like biden, feinstein or libermann?

This is as much a test for the democratic party as it is for the survival of our democracy

2. Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, the entire CBC, Mary Landrieu, Wes Clark, John
Edwards and many other Dems have already begun. But, WE must contact them and let them know WE demand accountability.

3. No it hasn't.

Every story I have read today, and every news program I have watched has been blisteringly critical of the Bush administration response.

Why do DUers panic at the first sight of a * counterattack? It happens every time. Do people here think they won't counterattack?

Gods, no wonder we lose. We aren't tough enough.

5. Then you didn't see Wolf Blitzer ask if it wasn't CLINTON'S fault!

We're still in the holiday weekend.

I HOPE you're right about there not being a backslide, but that STILL doesn't get Democrats off the hook.

Democrats can NOT afford to stay on the sidelines with this - there are too many "embedded" reporters.

PS: People with nothing to lose like Sharpton and Jessie Jackson don't count.

7. What did you expect from Wolf the idiot?
Blame Clinton. Blame Nagin. Blame the Governor. Blame anyone with a D beside their name. That's the republican party. But, I agree with most others, this is seen and being widely reported as a failure of the Bush Administration. Because Wolf is an idiot, doesn't mean others will follow.

state senators. One each to their DC and local addresses. Mail going to DC has been so screwed for so long that they won't get it for a month. At least I know they will get local mail quickly.

Not that a lot of DU'ers need help with it, but for a lot of handy links and info on how to and where to write to your state congress people and senators check out this page.

10. Dems are smart to walk the walk and keep shut up. They are doing
the work of helping out State Governors (Clinton with LA Gov) or Gore hiring planes, or starting a congressional investigation. If they can keep shut up GOP will not be able to make it look like it is politics.

The president and his assholes will have to answer to angry americans and angry CBC members himself. And all his lies & excuses will be recorded.

This is black & white. No need to 'muddy up the waters' by having Dems say anything - cause it then give the Rovebots..something to attack.

If they have nothing to attack in Washington - they are left attacking the public.
