NOW IS THE TIME - LIST HERE BUSH's DERELICTION OF DUTY - FOR IMPEACHMENT
PROCEEDINGS. You'll notice except for the Black Caucus, no democrat
has been out there giving interviews on Bush's failure.

If he is to be impeached it has to come from us, the people.
Congress won't make any move to do it unless we pressure and move on it.

For a change, let's not just talk among ourselves, we have to get out to every congress person, and especially all members of the House Judiciary Committee where impeachment articles start
a list of all dereliction of duty by Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld in this matter of New Orleans.

DONT TALK ON THIS THREAD - SEARCH THE INTERNET AND OUR POSTS ON DU
LISTING INFORMATION ON SUCH THINGS AS

1)THE RED CROSS NOT ALLOWED IN
2)THE SHERRIFFS CALLED IN BY GOVENOR & MAYOR NOT ALLOWED IN
3)NATIONAL GUARD HOLDING OUT HELP UNTIL BUSH ARRIVED FOR PHOTO OP FRI
4) BROWN SAYING ON THURSDAY HE DIDNT KNOW ABOUT CONVENTION CENTER PEOPLE
5)BUSH EATING CAKE & FUND RAISING & NOT ISSUING ORDERS FOR NG OR HELP UNTIL THURSDAY EVENING
6) FLOTILLA OF BOATERS TO SAVE PEOPLE NOT ALLOWED IN
7) FOOD & WATER BEING HELD OUT BY FEMA? NATIONAL GUARD?
8) BBC INTERVIEW WITH ? KELLY, READY DAYS BEFORE HURRICAN HIT BUT UNABLE TO DEPLOY UNTIL SIGNED ORDERS COME FROM PRES

Please, don;t just talk- comb DU and find these articles, list the entire thing here, not just the URL, and we will have pages and pages
to submit to Judiciary Committee for IMPACHMENT, and to send to every congressperson, WITH OUR DEMANDS FOR IMPEACHMENT.

WE WANT GOVT. BY THE PEOPLE, OF THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE....

THIS IS OUR CHANCE.

1. BBC interview shows Bush never gave military GO until Thurs. nite

This BBC Interview shows George Bush directly responsible for no action

On BBC: Northern Command was in position, before the hurricane hit, waiting for Presidential orders, that didn't come, apparently until he returned to the WH on Thursday evening .It seems he only began to act on Thursday, after he got back from his fund-raising,cake-eating, guitar playing trip to California on Thursday. PAPERWORK NEEDED TO GET THE TROOPS EN ROUTE DIDN'T COME FROM WASHINGTON UNTIL LATE THURSDAY.

This was on the episode of BBC World News which played on a local (Philadelphia area) PBS station at 6:00 am this morning. . The BBC announcer was interviewing Lieutenant Commander Sean Kelly whom she referred to as Leftenant Commander. This is the entire interview with no missing context.

Announcer: The relief operation is the largest ever conducted in America. It's being coordinated by the US Northern Command in Colorado. Leftenant Commander Sean Kelly explains how the relief effort is being organized.

Kelly: US Northern Command is the command that coordinates the military support for our federal and state agencies. They call up and request a capability and we try and provide that capability, whether it's medical resources, search and rescue helicopters, food, water, transportation, communications; that's what we provide.

A: So it sounds like you're providing a bit of everything. I mean, do you know how much you're actually providing?

K: Right now we've got 4,000 soldiers, sailors, airmen and marine and coast guardsmen supporting this. They've delivered more than 9 million meals, I can't remember how many millions of liters of water.

A: 9 million meals? Do you actually have 9 million meals?

K: It's those "meals ready to eat". The packaged meals that the Army takes out with them out in the field. We have 9 million of 'em ready. I know at least 100,000 went to the Superdome the other night to help the people out there in New Orleans. So they're staged at various places throughout Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana.

A: Now I'm sure you're aware of the criticism that the authorities have been slow to respond to this. When did you get the order to start relief work?

K: NorthCom started planning before the storm even hit. We were ready for the storm when it hit Florida because, as you remember, it crossed the bottom part of Florida, and then we were planning, you know, once it was pointed towards the Gulf Coast. So what we did was we activated what we call defense coordinating officers to work with the state to say okay, what do you think you'll need, and we set up staging bases that could be started. We had the USS Baton sailing almost behind the hurricane so that after the hurricane made landfall it's search and rescue helicopters would be available almost immediately. So we had things ready. The only caveat is, we have to wait until the President authorizes us to do so. The laws of the United States say that the military can't just act in this fashion, we have to wait for the President to give us permission.

A: Now I gather that your engineers are also involved in pumping some of that flood water out of the areas.

K: Yes,

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Bush didn't sign and send out any orders until he returned from his
joy ride and socializing in California on Thursday night, when the hurricane hit on Monday and the people were flooded on Tuesday, and drowning from Tuesday on. Is there any reason why he couldn't cut his good times short to save a city and order the military out?

You might want to make sure your republican AND democrat representatives and senators receive a copy of it, ESPECIALLY those on the Judiciary Committee where articles of impeachment must start.

2. FEMA stopped fuel and water from reaching evacuees - genocide?
Meet the Press and repeated all day long on MSNBC

MR. BROUSSARD: Sir, they were told like me, every single day, "The cavalry's coming," on a federal level, "The cavalry's coming, the cavalry's coming, the cavalry's coming." I have just begun to hear the hoofs of the cavalry. The cavalry's still not here yet, but I've begun to hear the hoofs, and we're almost a week out.

Let me give you just three quick examples. We had Wal-Mart deliver three trucks of water, trailer trucks of water. FEMA turned them back. They said we didn't need them. This was a week ago. FEMA--we had 1,000 gallons of diesel fuel on a Coast Guard vessel docked in my parish. The Coast Guard said, "Come get the fuel right away." When we got there with our trucks, they got a word. "FEMA says don't give you the fuel." Yesterday--yesterday--FEMA comes in and cuts all of our emergency communication lines. They cut them without notice. Our sheriff, Harry Lee, goes back in, he reconnects the line. He posts armed guards on our line and says, "No one is getting near these lines." Sheriff Harry Lee said that if America--American government would have responded like Wal-Mart has responded, we wouldn't be in this crisis.

4. NATIONAL STRIKE
I haven't posted enough to start my own thread but I think the march on Washington scheduled for Sept. 24 should be supported by a National Strike as well. if half a million people march...it will be quite a spectacle that makes a whole 25 seconds of a splash on some of the MSM outlets.

With a broad scale National Strike...NOONE can marginalize the degree of outrage nor the numbers of us involved. There are certainly MILLIONS and MILLIONS of us who simply can't attend or participate in Washington or even local gatherings but we CAN make a difference collectively simply by not going in to work or calling in sick in support and solidarity with the others who are marching that day.

The rigged elections, the war, the corruption, ALL inclusive in this massive protest and when 100 million people don't go to work that day there will very certainly be a reckoning or at least a visible show of what our numbers REALLY are.

It starts with a voice...preferrably one with a microphone and perhaps that voice could encourage a few friends with microphones (Air America?) to begin spreading the word...

NOW is the time folks...anyone disagree?

(thanks for the platform)

8. Welcome to DU!
Frankly, I think a national strike is a great idea, but to have any teeth in it, it would have to be a whole lotta EVERYBODY participating. There are too many people out there who aren't motivated for many reasons, not the least of which is "aaaaahhh, it won't do any good, nuthin's gunna happen..." so that's the only reason I think it wouldn't work. But you could count ME in, ABSOLUTELY, EAGERLY, AND WITHOUT QUESTION.

7. I was mainly thinking categories, myself:
Headings such as...

Criminal Negligence
Gross Dereliction of Duty
Incompetence
Conspiracy
Obstruction of Justice

That was just off the top of my head. I've been to no books or websites that give exacting legal directives and/or guidelines.

And then, of course, if we ever get his lying ass under oath, the ever-popular and wickedly effective PERJURY.

Note:
You will come up against people who STILL want to make allowances for this guy, give him the benefit of the doubt, pass off the blame to somebody else lower down, spread the blame around and somehow also drag Clinton into it, too. NO! Resist this!!!!!!

Ask these people just where they imagine that the buck oughta stop? ANYWHERE AT ALL? Or do we find some fall-guy at the low end of the food chain and let the real criminals who called the shots, gave the orders (or in this case, sat on his/their asses and DIDN'T), and set the policy? Like with Abu Ghraib.

And if that still doesn't work, LOOK 'EM STRAIGHT IN THE EYE AND ASK THEM DIRECTLY: "If YOU had performed THIS POORLY on YOUR job, would YOU still be working???????"

That one clinched an argument with a coupla guys at my local bank just yesterday. They simply had no smart talking-point comeback for that one. NONE.

And maybe, just maybe... a slam-dunk like that (which will very likely stop the conversation then and there, and their quick - "yeah, well Clinton was in there for eight years and did nuthin..." bullshit.

THIS. TOO. IS. HOMELAND. SECURITY.

I was thinking the same thing today, and looked on a few sights for Louisiana law, but over my head, but I think endangering a child, Human rights violations, with foreign visitors being neglected, probably Amnesty International could be brought in. Apparently this is one of the reasons, out of several we went to war with Irag, Saddam gassed his people, Bush is not doing much different by the delay. Please send donations directly to Louisiana www.katrina.louisiana.gov/donate.htm Bush can not touch that money.

Today, Chertoff says "Katrina scenario did not exist."

http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/09/03/katrina.chertoff/index.html

When Katrina hit, the WDSU blog records FEMA prior statements to the Associated Press on the day Katrina hit:

"7:08 a.m.: FEMA Chief Praises New Orleans Officials
The head of the Federal Emergency Management Agency says the government has known for a long time how vulnerable New Orleans would be in a major hurricane like Katrina. Michael Brown says Louisiana went through a table-top drill a year ago and is doing a good job responding right now. He also tells NBC the government is preparing supplies and response teams to move wherever Gulf state governors need them once the weather allows. -- Associated Press"

Note this blog also records the levee break at Industrial Canal at 11:15 a.m.

Witness report of order to LA:

"Yesterday the base CO for NSA Bahrain sent everyone a Power Point slide with a bunch of info... who was doing what, what ships were enroute with ETA's etc. They actually had the news about the Haliburton contracts in there. All the slides are marked "Unclassified".

The presentation is dated 1930z, 31 Aug 05, so that is the latest it would have been set.

Peace.

29. Bush guts FEMA, hands control over to his cronies.
"CHRONOLOGY....Here's a timeline that outlines the fate of both FEMA and flood control projects in New Orleans under the Bush administration. Read it and weep:

January 2001: Bush appoints Joe Allbaugh, a crony from Texas, as head of FEMA. Allbaugh has no previous experience in disaster management.

April 2001: Budget Director Mitch Daniels announces the Bush administration's goal of privatizing much of FEMA's work. In May, Allbaugh confirms that FEMA will be downsized: "Many are concerned that federal disaster assistance may have evolved into both an oversized entitlement program...." he said. "Expectations of when the federal government should be involved and the degree of involvement may have ballooned beyond what is an appropriate level."

2001: FEMA designates a major hurricane hitting New Orleans as one of the three "likeliest, most catastrophic disasters facing this country."

December 2002: After less than two years at FEMA, Allbaugh announces he is leaving to start up a consulting firm that advises companies seeking to do business in Iraq. He is succeeded by his deputy and former college roommate, Michael Brown, who has no previous experience in disaster management and was fired from his previous job for mismanagement.

March 2003: FEMA is downgraded from a cabinet level position and folded into the Department of Homeland Security. Its mission is refocused on fighting acts of terrorism.

2003: Under its new organization chart within DHS, FEMA's preparation and planning functions are reassigned to a new Office of Preparedness and Response. FEMA will henceforth focus only on response and recovery.

Summer 2004: FEMA denies Louisiana's pre-disaster mitigation funding requests. Says Jefferson Parish flood zone manager Tom Rodrigue: "You would think we would get maximum consideration....This is what the grant program called for. We were more than qualified for it.""

30. Bush's govt. fails to serve its people-dereliction of duty
Video at top of page on Crooks & Liars:
<http://www.crooksandliars.com/2005/09/04.html#a4784 >

SCHIEFFER: Finally, a personal thought. We have come through what may have been one of the worst weeks in America's history, a week in which government at every level failed the people it was created to serve. There is no purpose for government except to improve the lives
of its citizens. Yet as scenes of horror that seemed to be coming from some Third World country flashed before us, official Washington was like a dog watching television. It saw the lights and images, but did not seem to comprehend their meaning or see any link to reality.

As the floodwaters rose, local officials in New Orleans ordered the city evacuated. They might as well have told their citizens to fly to the moon. How do you evacuate when you don't have a car? No hint of intelligent design in any of this. This was just survival of the richest.

<snip>

Since 9/11, Washington has spent years and untold billions reorganizing the government to deal with crises brought on by possible terrorist attacks. If this is the result, we had better start over.

Another example and proof that they only act when it hurts their PR.

42. CNN Now Lying? "Boat rescue operation suspended"
Edited on Sun Sep-04-05 03:47 PM by SimpleTrend

Boat rescue operation suspended

NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana (CNN) -- As police and National Guard troops struggled to restore order Thursday in New Orleans, federal emergency teams suspended boat rescue operations because conditions in the flooded city were too dangerous, officials said.

Troops and police have been working to evacuate tens of thousands of people, who are growing weaker and more desperate each hour.
...
CNN's Chris Lawrence reported that conditions inside the building were appalling -- a number of bodies were visible, including a baby.

"We are out here like pure animals. We don't have any help," Rev. Issac Clark told the Associated Press.

Unfortunately, the text at the CNN article now appears completely different. At a Google News search, that text is not available as a phrase: "federal emergency teams suspended boat rescue operations"

The non-news web hasn't yet been completely scrubbed yet, that text as phrase appears in two other places:
http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&ct=res&cd=1&url=http%3A//gayorbit.net/index.php%3Fp%3D2939&ei=OVMbQ6_KFpCk-gG0pNCZDA

Here's one:
http://gayorbit.net/index.php?p=2939

No wonder Americans are so confused: Liars are running the show, and if they had read something in the news, a few days later when looking for it again, its been replaced with a carefully edited document that bears little similarity to the original text.

45. Chertoff the liar, part 3
"Now, the second issue is evacuation. What we do is, when we rescue people, or when we encounter people, we direct them to various evacuation sites around the city. Those sites have water and food and other necessities, and the idea is to have people stage there until we get vehicles to take them out."

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x2059541

I think we all know from watching the news in the past few days, that "Those sites have water and food and other necessities" is nothing short of a bald faced lie - and more, shows the total unconcern by the Feds for the people who were dying in LA.

But Mr. Chertoff didn't hesistate to glorify himself and this mis-Administration in their handling of the disaster.

63. Bush didn't know - yet the Weather Service was saying it on Sunday
"MOST OF THE AREA WILL BE UNINHABITABLE FOR WEEKS...PERHAPS LONGER. AT LEAST ONE HALF OF WELL CONSTRUCTED HOMES WILL HAVE ROOF AND WALL FAILURE. ALL GABLED ROOFS WILL FAIL...LEAVING THOSE HOMES SEVERELY DAMAGED OR DESTROYED."

http://kamala.cod.edu/offs/KLIX/0508281550.wwus74.html

What part of "Most of the area will be uninhabitable for weeks...perhaps longer" did he not understand? The very same day, Governor Blanco asked for Federal assistance for housing, rescue, etc.

65. Somebody put together a list of this stuff with source notes and blast it
to all the media outlets.

I'll continue to gather information to post in this thread, but the evidence of misdeeds by the Bush Administration is so extensive that I really think we need to be putting together a list of these items with source notes and provide them to every major press outlet in the US. The dereliction of public duty is glaring, and it's cost hundreds, maybe even thousands of American lives.

I feel absolutely sick. I've barely been able to sleep in the past few days. And I'm enraged every time someone from the Bush Administration goes to the press and lies. LIES! I'm just flat out TIRED of it!

69. Bush's best defense against an impending impeachment
(now not so unthinkable even to some of his former supporters) is the guy who's currently #2. A President Cheney in the Oval Office would be... uh, scary. A massive war (including nuclear weapons) against Iran, even more props to oil companies, plus the not-so-trivial prospect of a guy with a permanent sneer making press conferences-- ugly.

Ironically, the Rethugs have protected themselves from impeachment by creating a long chain of incompetents who would succeed each impeached leader, to the extent of making such efforts not worth the exertion. Even if Cheney were to be sacked in a double impeachment, the next guy on the list would be... Dennis Hastert. Bill Frist is the only guy who'd maybe be mildly tolerable, but he's 4th on the list-- and everyone else is too repugnant to tolerate. No good alternatives here.

And this time, we CAN prove it. I agree with Pallas180, we need to start a drive for impeachment NOW. Even if the current Congress doesn't have any balls, a strong drive to hold Bushco accountable would lead to Dems getting near total control of Congress in '06. We all know what happens then...

NC Pharmaceutical CEO flew in Company Plane to NO's with med supplies

Edited on Mon Sep-05-05 01:19 AM by KoKo01

was told not to land with the supplies for SuperDome evacuee's. He contacted a LA State Senator he found through a contact and finally was able to land the plane just as they started to evacute the SD. He managed to give the supplies to the National Guard who said they would distribute it...his physician friend also gave some of the meds to those getting on the busses with instructions.

He was flying the supplies to NO's because a physician friend had been there for a Medical Conference and was evacuated out of his hotel to the SuperDome. The physician managed to get an e-mail out to his buddy at the Pharma Company pleading for help, medicines for people and said he was going to be at the SuperDome.

I can't give the link yet. My hubby just got it from a person who is friends with the CEO...but believe me this is true. I hope our local newspaper writes it up so I can post a link.

Here's ANOTHER example of people using their private resources in Desperation to get aid into New Orleans. We need to start compliling a list of these people who used their own or their companies resources to try to get into NewOrleans to give aid and were turned back. There are many of these stories out there and I'll bet some private stories without newspaper links yet will be showing up in DU'ers home newspapers in the coming days. We need to keep a record for the Bush Impeachment...and so that folks Never Forget...all those who tried while Bush lied.

81. Impeachment Letter For Judiciary and Congress
Articles of Impeachment must come from the House Judiciary Committee. If you are in agreement that Bush, Cheney and his misadministration should be removed from office, would you please send this letter to both Democrats and REPUBLICANS on the Committee and ALL in Congress, so they can know just how serious we are. Fax is best, and e mail is next best. Snail mail is held up for weeks. And to all groups or mailing lists you have?

Membership of Judiciary Committee http://judiciary.house.gov/CommitteeMembership.aspx

Dear Congressman/Senator _____________________

It's time.

Now the entire country is witness to Bushs Impeachable offenses and Misdemeanors of :

Dereliction of Duty, Abuse of Office, Violation of Public Trust.

We have listed the proof of Bush's dereliction of duty and violations of Public Trust at the URL here:

"NOW IS THE TIME - LIST HERE BUSH's DERELICTION OF DUTY - FOR IMPEACHMENT "

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x2061707

Congress must level charges at both Bush and Cheney of Abuse of Office, Dereliction of Duty, and Violation of Public Trust.

1)Abuse of Office: Bush & Cheney. On Wednesday August 31 the announcement came, days before the people in New Orleans were rescued, given water or MRE's, that Halliburton had been awarded the contract for rebuilding in New Orleans. Without bid. and to a company who had been caught overcharging the U.S. taxpayer $100 million in Iraq.

2)Abuse of Office & Dereliction of Duty: A transcript of Tim Russert's Meet The Press has Republican governor Barbour stating he had national guard, food, fuel, water and all that he needed on MONDAY, while President Broussard of Jefferson Parrish Louisiana broke down in tears on national tv at the death of his citizens stating that even as of that day, Sunday Sept 4, seven (7) days after the hurricane, he did not have food, water, fuel, Red Cross or national guard and as a matter of fact such items had been sent to him by private parties and FEMA refused to let these desperately needed items through: that FEMA even had cut the lines of his emergency communications.

The text of his interview with Russert is here:transcript: <http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9179790 /

3) Abuse Of Office & Dereliction of Duty: When Republican Governor Barbour of Mississippi who was interviewed after Mr. Broussard on Russert said "I don;t know what went on in Louisiana but I had guard, food , water and everything I needed on Monday (August 29)- I understood. The world understood.

Mr. Bush is known to be a vindictive person. It is obvious that FEMA on orders did not service the Democratic governor's constituents , never mind that it would cause their deaths, while taking excellent care of the Republicans constituents. I as we all are, am horrified at what Bush has done.

The food, water, buses, private aid, life saving boats, guard, volunteers and help of any kind were kept outside of New Orleans and not allowed in for a full five days, as we all saw recorded for posterity on television.

I have numerous instances with links in the URL above as proof of this. Many who rushed to New Orleans with supplies, boats, medicine, doctors, sheriffs, aid and transport called by the Mayor of New Orleans and Governor of Louisiana were rebuffed and sent away by FEMA and the National Guard on Thursday and before. FEMA & the Guard under orders, essentially blockaded New Orleans and the Parishes causing dehydration of thousands and allowing drowning resulting in deaths.

It's beyond comprehension that any President of the United States would sacrifice thousands of American lives to play politics to bestow favoritism on Republican governors and ignore the desperate pleas of American citizens living in Democratic Governors areas , however without doubt it is the conclusion after Tim Russert interviewed (R) Gov Haley Barbour of Mississippi who said he had everything he needed on Monday 8/29 but didn't know what went on in Louisiana, (as did the republican governor of Alabama) while County Manager (D)Aaron Broussard of Jefferson Parrish in Louisiana broke down and cried on national television on Sunday 9/4 that his people were dying and he still didn't have guard, food, water, gas, Red Cross or any life saving assistance 7 days after the hurricane, despite promises every day from FEMA and President Bush "that the calvary was coming". In fact, while Broussards people were dying, FEMA was turning away gas, water, and food trucks from New Orleans and Broussard's area, even those sent by private organizations such as Walmart.

The importance of the Russert interview of the two men is primary to understant what George Bush was doing.

Payback.

Originally it was thought Bushs intention was genocide of the minority population. But after hearing (R)Haley Barbour and (D)President Broussard on the same program experiencing the absolute opposite result in life saving assistance, it could be understood this was Payback against Democrat voting Louisiana by a vindictive George Bush.

Did Bush realize the deaths his vindictive actions would cause? .

If so , what he has done is criminal homicide of American citizens;

At the very least, his dereliction of duty and abuse of power is manslaughter,

Either way, what he has done is criminal, impeachable and it's time for him to go.

a)The Chicago Tribune reports that the U.S.S. Bataan, equipped with six operating rooms, hundreds of hospital beds and the ability to produce 100,000 gallons of fresh water a day, has been sitting off the Gulf Coast since last Monday 8/29- waiting for orders from the President, which never came.

b)The BBC interviewed Lieutenant Sean Kelly of Northcom who stated over radio they had been prepared for rescue three days before the hurricane hit and were awaiting orders from the President, which did not come. (Transcipt of interview in above URL)

c)Bush has stated " No one knew this could happen"

Dr. Max Mayfield, director of the National Hurricane Center, told the Times-Picayune Sunday afternoon that officials with the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Department of Homeland Security, including FEMA Director Mike Brown and Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff, listened in on electronic briefings given by his staff in advance of Hurricane Katrina slamming Louisiana and Mississippi--and were advised of the storms potential deadly effects.

"Mayfield said the strength of the storm and the potential disaster it could bring were made clear during both the briefings and in formal advisories, which warned of a storm surge capable of overtopping levees in New Orleans and winds strong enough to blow out windows of high-rise buildings," the paper reported. "He said the briefings included information on expected wind speed, storm surge, rainfall and the potential for tornados to accompany the storm as it came ashore. "We were briefing them way before landfall," Mayfield said. "Its not like this was a surprise. We had in the advisories that the levee could be topped."

D) An incomplete list of aid turned away by Bush and Fema to the Democratic areas of Louisiana:

- won't accept Amtrak's help in evacuations

- turns away experienced firefighters

- turns back Wal-Mart supply trucks filled with desperately needed water and food

- prevents Coast Guard from delivering diesel fuel

- won't let Red Cross deliver food or water to New Orleans or Louisiana parrishes

- bars morticians from entering New Orleans

- blocks 500-boat citizen flotilla from delivering aid and searching for survivors.

- tells volunteer air boat searchers they have to pay for their own gas: $500 to 700 a day.

-gives no orders to Navy ship Baataan awaiting to assist parked in Gulf with 600-bed hospital on board and

capability of supplying 100,000 gallons of water p/day.

-Chicago has a convoy of trucks loaded with aid. Told to send just one truck

-FEMA turns away generators

-Canadian Red Cross from Vancouver BC whose planes were blocked by FEMA from entering the U.S. to aid New Orleans

-Aid offered by every country in the world not accepted.

-FEMA: "First Responders Urged Not To Respond"( straight from FEMA's website.)

Dereliction of Duty by Bush & Cheney: No orders were given out in fact until the President returned from his cake eating, guitar strumming, fund raising jaunt to California on Thursday evening, 4 days after the hurricane hit.

I sincerely hope that the compilation of information will help you bring this to the Judiciary Committee and every member of congress for the impeachment of Bush and Cheney and the entire mis-administration .

Very truly yours,

My next post was going to be this letter for everyone to send, and now I can't. Would you post the following letter in two places? under that URL above and

Would you post in in a new thread in either General Discussion or General
Discussion, Pollitics under your own name? if you mention mine it will be removed. If you can do it thanks...we need to get impeachment rolling!
And no one seems to have written a letter others can follow, even though
some are asking for it.

I will be much indebted to you.
Also, I can't reach Splat who had a better place for us to post. Could you ask him to e mail me at Pallas1800@yahoo. com?

Thanks if you can help Nadin. Here's The Impeachment Letter:
