what about the government warehouses FULL of clothing, etc? I remember

seeing a television news program several years ago that talked about how the government had at least 7 HUGE warehouses FULL of things like clothing, etc., etc. that the taxpayers spend millions each year storing. surely, now, they could open those damned things and give (admittedly much outdated) supplies to the victims of both katrina and the government's supreme incompetence after this disaster.
