What does it say about Americans when more people are willing to vote for Lieberman over an honest American like Kucinich.

I know he's not a DU favorite, but I respect Joe Lieberman. The fact that he keeps staffers together over sooo many years is testament to a man who is easy to get along with, faithful and loyal. His saying he would stand down if Gore is in the race and waited patiently to keep his word is admirable. All the reporters almost unanimously say he is the candidate with the most humor and an all-around good guy. I hate to see this man catch so much grief on DU. I am supporting John Edwards, but I very much respect Senator Lieberman.

7. I make fun of Joe with the best of them. But you are correct. |
|
Although I vehemently disagree with his positions on Iraq, Israel, and censorship, all in all, Joe is a good guy. By that, I mean I do believe he is honest, well-intentioned, and kind-hearted.
He'd probably make a serviceable, unremarkable (except for being Jewish) President. Assuming, of course, that he didn't lose all 50 states by a 2-1 margin, which he would.

9. Did you see the focus group on C-Span? |

When asked which of the candidates they would trust most to act as guardian for their children, they picked Joe Lieberman -- by a wide margin.
