record turnout- music to my ears
whoever wins, the words "record turnout" make my heart go pitter-patter. i want to see dean win, or at least beat the odds and the polls. but more than that i want to see the electorate energized, and paying attention.

2. Me too!

I know several people who haven't voted in decades who are itching
to give get to the polls and give Chimpy the boot. I hope we see it in November too.

3. I was just asking that question: what is NH turnout. GREAT!
I hope the scene is repeated over and over and over and over across this great nation of ours. People will wake up from their "Reality Show" nonreality and see what is truly happening to them and our country. They will shake off the cobwebs, get involved, and by sheer force of will put that miserable foolish failure out of office.

5. I Kerry does very well among independents
Dean attracts some support as well.

6. Record turnout is good to hear
I hope that carries over to the General Election, as I suspect that would fair well for Democrats.

8. Good news unless your name is Bush
This will make two record turnouts in a row (IA,NH) This shows the people want him out and they want him out bad. This is terrible news for Bush.

10. Mine too.

The base is energized, and that should scare Rove
senseless.

12. Truly record turnout
would be wonderful, but the polling places aren't geared up to handle them. Remember 1992, when some 100 million voters actually voted? Some polling places had to stay open several hours later than scheduled to accommodate everyone, and there were reports of people giving up and going home after waiting several hours to vote.

Which could be another way to steal the election. Don't print up enough ballots in a precinct where paper ballots would be used.
