You should've liked Kerry's statement. As one poster summed up, he basically said: "Rehnquist is dead. The guy was on the Supreme Court a long time. Now someone will be appointed to replace him. Pay attention."
Although many others here didn't read it that way, because it was couched in gracious, political terms.
