1. Given his financial resources,
yes, he drops out after a loss in his backyard.

6. It would be such a shock, he might have to. Does anyone think he'll really
lose? He's only behind Clark (in the few polls which don't have him in first), and it doesn't look like Clark is coming out of NH with much mo.

8. nothing is guaranteed but he's looking good for the win
I can't see them goint for Dean or Kerry and Clark is imploding.

Sharpton has some support but not enough.

9. Edwards is 1st place in south carolina now
or were you talking about another state when you said "he's only behind clark" ? i personally can't see edwards losing south carolina. the poll with edwards leading south carolina had kerry second.

12. He is only 4 points ahead of Kerry in the ARG SC
Clark 14
Dean 9
Edwards 21
Kerry 17

It would be quite an upset if Kerry were to take it from him but it doesn't look impossible.

7. If Edwards can't win SC then I think he should drop out but
people could say that about Dean not winning NH.

11. But only one can win SC so
you think whoever wins SC should be the nominee?

19. I think Edwards is already considering this...
If he sinks in the polls, he will probably drop out rather than lose the state he was born in. But I maybe wrong!

14. I certainly hope so. 2 IWR supporters would be gone. 2 to go.
I would really like to vote for a Democrat in November. With Kerry, Edwards and Lieberman gone, I could.

17. It depends upon how the results shake out
If he comes in second by fairly close margins, I can't imagine him getting out.

20. Didn't vote this poll because
I don't think we should be telling any of the candidates when they should drop out. Leave that crap to the talking heads. Let's let the voters decide.
