Thank God Bush was President when this disaster struck |
|
Someone brought this up a few days ago, but that thread is long gone.
Do you remember how you heard this from the right wing after September 11th?
Has anyone heard it being used for this disaster?
Didn't think so.

6. 89-90% of the fatalities did not occur from the hurricane |
|
but from the aftermath -- from CNN. I interpret this to mean from waiting so long in attics, etc. Stupidity and Incompetence Killed them. I think this administration should be charged with murder!

and let the next Democratic administration take the heat. Breaks my heart that it happened on his watch. That's what you get when you cut the fuse too short.
I should have never happened at all.

7. Guy James did a rant about this on his show Saturday... |
|
Rudy Giuliani claiming that he walked the streets of Ground Zero with Bernie Kerik at his side turned to him, and said "THANK GOD GEORGE BUSH IS OUR PRESIDENT."
A couple of says ago, MSNBC ran a photo of Bush with the bullhorn right after 9/11, juxtaposed with a photo of him sitting on the rubble of a guy's house taken a few days ago.
It wasn't on the site very long.
I sent them an e-mail and reamed them..."WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE"...and posted a thread on DU asking others to do the same. It seems to have worked.

11. It took this to finally convince my daughter who voted for him |
|
she said, mom they don't care about the poor black people, its obvious.
She voted as did many for Bush because she is religious. I tried so hard to talk her out of it. the war, how stupid he is nothing would get through to her until this...
I think true christians like her will get it finally....too bad it takes something so awful to open up peoples eyes!!
