While defensive about race allegations after Katrina, Rice conceded the response could have been better.

4. Just one big coincidence that the majority were black and poor.
This wasn't WMD's to lie about. Day and night, millions of Americans saw what did happen. And it looks like your jesus and god was acting in mysterious ways again. But he's coming, so buy some shoes and keep your chin up.

7. Once again...
"I'm a Christian, and George W. Bush, Condi "Preacher's Daughter" Rice, Jerry Falwell, Fred Phelps, Pat Robertson, etc. etc. etc. do not speak for me."

"The Lord Jesus Christ would have preferred Condi getting her stylish ass back to Washington instead of buying shoes and yukking it up over Spamalot."

9. Could be waiting awhile
The original apostles claimed He would return in their lifetimes, not ours.

So he's running about 1900 years late (and counting).

12. When you look at time on a biblical scale, BushCo's response was FAST!
I mean, OMG - - they got to the Katrina victims at least 1950 years faster than Jesus! Now that's what I call SERVICE! :sarcasm:

11. And of course, Condiment
is so religious. I'll bet she goes to Church every Sunday.

Of course, we'll ignore her penchant for lying, lying to the public 24/7. Isn't that one of the 10 Commandments? Oh, that's right.

She's been instrumental in a lot of deaths, both US troops and in the Middle East. Wow, that's another one. Thou shalt not....

But we'll overlook that because she's a multi-millionaire, and she's been generous with her earnings.

Let's see, last week she was spotted plunking down a $thousand bucks Buying Ferragamo Shoes in New York, while her brothers and sisters were drowning in Alabama.

Condi?

Only people save people. That's a fact. You can pray until next thursday; nothing's going to change that fact.

"It's times like this that I thank God I'm an atheist."

;)

I'm not, but I love that line.

22. The message in Acts to those standing around staring up at the sky
trying to see Jesus was: "Why do you stand looking up toward heaven?"

The disciples then re-focused their attention on the hard work of bringing God's kingdom here on earth themselves.

27. Well.....we need to ask what kind of God would do this?
Of course, a punishing God would. Maybe God and Jesus and Mary the rest just had a meeting in Heaven and decided that this country is so fucked because of the Republicans that he is determined to punish everyone, including the Democrats.

Seems the Republicans are raping the environment which God and Jesus appeared to really love; screwing the economy, which Jesus really gets upset about(remember the money changers), determined to not help the poor, which really pissed Jesus off and preaching from the street corners, which every GOOD Christian knows is a NO NO.

28. SHAME GAME: Dear Dr. Rice
Dear Dr. Rice:

I realize that you are an African-American and I have so admired you for doing the fine job that you do. I'm afraid I've not have the privilege of meeting Black people as educated as yourself as I live in Mississippi where the level of education is quite impoverished. I live in Jackson, MS, where, as you perhaps know, there are more millionaires than you can shake a stick at! I am proud to say that there are some notable Black people in Jackson. INdeed, I had a soiree this past evening and invited three of them, some of the wealthiest people in town. Its amazing what a little education can do!

Thank you so very much for following up on the crisis in New Orleans. Lord knows we didn't need any more troubles after Iraq with the insurgency today (I heard) taking back another city. Please do support the president in sending over more troops. I think he does a fine job. I know some of the kids graduating from the highschool are looking forward to going to Iraq.

God bless America, Dr. Rice.

Sincerely,
white cracker from Jackson, MS
