DEMS - PLEASE help out Blanco!
If he rumors are true, Bush and Rove are bullying her into accepting the blame. I think Nagin already has been told lies about Blanco "needing 24 hours" to decide on a chain of command, which he told CNN this morning.

I think Blanco didn't do/say those things.

She needs to be before the cameras - if she has time - to answer questions.

It's hard for us to stomach the political maneuverings here. It's like a thug who kicks you in the stomach then pats you on the head afterward.

DEMOCRATS - PLEASE - STAND BEHIND BLANCO!

1. Got it. Keep us updated too and get her on TV
I heard that "24 hour" story. That's from Bush so it's a lie probably.

She needsmore presence to explain things.

Thanks for this information.

3. Considering the MASSIVE lies Bush has told in the past, why should...
ANYONE believe him now?

We need to go in public, point out the past Bush lies, and tell him to prove his story. What Blanco needed 24 hours to decide is whether she would let Bush declare martial law in Louisiana and take control of the state.

In other words, lock down the scene so no one finds out what he's done.

4. OT Disappointed in Landreu
She sounds like she's working for Bush.

Is she defending Blanco? If not, her career as a Dem should be over.

5. according to a radio interview
that i listened to by nagin, he said he and blanco and bush went aboard airforce one to "talk". after talking a while, bush and blanco went into another room. when they came out, nagin said that blanco said she needed 24 hours to make a decision.

for what it is worth.... ???

i don't know who to believe anymore.

nagin backed blanco's republican opponent during the election.

blanco is concerned about bush gaining complete control over the louisiana bureacracy/national guard, and not giving it back. that would allow bush to declare martial law in louisiana.

that seems like a legitimate concern.
