I'm a white cracker from Atlanta and I know what I'm talking about. All those times I stood in line and glared at the guy making racist comments about the 'negras.'

Dear President Bush: I know that the New Orleans matter was a terrible tragedy, but God must know what he's doing. Certainly you could not have anticipated that levee breaking. <aybe the Good Lord will be coming back soon and this is what we have to expect. Dr. Rice stated as much today.

Now, however, we have a lot of Black people who are without housing and I wonder how this is going to affect our taxes? Certainly, we don't want them to be left out in the cold. On the other hand, this has the potential to really wreak havoc on our economic structure.

Accordingly, I am hopeful that you will continue to try and obtain tax cuts for people who have businesses so that business owners can make jobs available to Black people and they can save their money which is the American way.

Dear President Bush: I heard that things are so bad in New Orleans that students have driven from different parts of the country to try and help people. This is pretty bad. However, may Jesus is on his way.

I really admired that picture of you sitting in the bedroom of the black people who were obviously in distress. I'm glad that the US government is finally there.

I wish they had listened to what they were told and had gotten out before all of this happened. I hope that this doesn't mean an end to those tax cuts for as you know, President Bush, tax cuts is what makes it possible for people to have decent jobs.

In my role as an owner of a trailer park in New Orleans, its going to be mighty tough to recoup my losses and that will mean that poor people will not have a place to live. However, I thought that we could all get back on our feet faster if you would sure stay behind that tax cut.

Dear President Bush: God sure works in mysterious ways. It looks like lots of money will possibly be saved because there are fewer poor people to take care of in New Orleans. I feel kind of silly saying this but I've been thinking about it, with the economy having problems, and so I wanted to let you know.

I was sorry to hear about the elderly. It was amazing to hear that people didn't get out. I just don't understand that, sir. I would hope that they would have the common sense to save for a car, even a cheap one, but maybe they have difficulty doing that.
